Live MCGI Cares Service hold on 3rd June 2022

Good evening brethrens may the peace of the Lord be with us all Amen Glory be to God almighty for another wonderful teachings from Brother Eli on the MCGI Cares Charity Event Hold on 3rd June 2022.

I learned in Ephesians 2:10 that we are God's workmanship which is for the sole purpose of good work. We are created in Christ Jesus unto good works and this is more reason we should do good unto all without discrimination. Here is telling us to be like Jesus Christ when he was here on earth as he was doing good to all men even to those that hate him he was still doing good to them so this is what God want us to be doing to be a good example of Christ to be doing good to all men even to our enemies we should do good to them especially to our Brothers in the house hold of God.

I also learnt about the intense addiction and depression amongst people in the world, people abuse hard drugs and alcohol all over the world. Brother Eli also talked about the negative effect and the effect of alcohol addiction to the body. Alcohol is toxic to the body and it stresses the liver so much especially in metabolism. He also said we should avoid alcohol or anything nicotine that is dangerous to health he also told us about when he was into taking cigarettes that he cautioned himself not to and he it happened that he stopped it. if we are addicted we should know how to stop whatever we are addicted to.

Ephesians 5:18 I learnt that we should not get drunk with wine when it is in excess but rather we should be filled with the holy Spirit. Here here is simply telling us about everything that we are doing we should not over do it that is a sin against God even eating too much is a sin so we should not be drinking even if you want to drink wine we should not drink too much of wine so that it doesn't make us miss behave, So drunkenness is against the doctrines of God, so we should avoid it.

I pray as we do the word of God may God be with us as we do it so that will not be the hearers but the doers of the word of God.

We are inviting you to join the MCGI Cares (Hive) community that study the words of God and also earn some reward by making our reactions on it.
