Preparándonos para un baile especial [Esp/Eng]

ENGLISH
Greetings, my dear and cherished friends. I hope you’re having a great start to the week. I wanted to let you know that tomorrow, September 8, on my island, we’ll be celebrating the feast day of our beautiful patron saint, the Virgin of the Valley of La Margarita—patron saint of the Navy and fishermen. It’s one of the most beautiful festivals and traditions of the year here, so as soon as September begins, the preparations start to commemorate this special day.
This year, the shopping centers have joined forces to organize various activities, one of which is scheduled for today, September 7: a dance festival.

The invitation to this event was extended to all the municipalities on the island; from our municipality, Gómez, at least two dance groups were invited, including ours.
So these young girls had been preparing for this dance for a couple of weeks, and they were super excited because this would be their first performance at such an important venue in front of such a large audience.
We met at the rehearsal space because that’s where the bus would pick us up. Everything went wonderfully; later, I’ll share a little bit about what the performance was like.
