un nuevo proceso, Me toca realizarme radioterapia [Esp/Eng]

Saludos queridos y apreciados amigos, feliz y bendecida noche tengan todos ustedes, por acá en recuperación pero por muy buen camino, no se si recuerdan que les comenté que acá en la isla se me complicaba lo de las quimios por la falta de un especialista en oncología en el centro público y pues después de tanto andar de un lugar a otro logres realizarme pago en dónde lo hacían más económico pero tampoco estaba la especialista y se manejaba mediante un adjunto que tiene en la isla y se comunica con ella vía telefónica. Bueno les cuento todo esto porque hace un par de semanas llegó a la isla y comenzó a pasar sus consultas y pues como yo estaba por terminar quimioterapia quería ir para consultar que continuaba.

Su consulta fue 60$ y pues la verdad todos sus días agendados de consulta estaba full, el día que asisti llegue a las 8 de la mañana y salí a las 4. Allí luego de presentarle mi caso y que revisara mis estudios nuevamente me indico que debido al tipo de cáncer debo realizarme radioterapia para así sellar ese lugar.

La verdad yo prefiero que sea así para estar más segura, pero el Gran problema es que acá en la isla no realizan radioterapias, solo en tierra firme y privadas son bastante costosas, me dicen que eso está un poco saturado y hay lista de espera. Me stresa un poco pues no tengo familiares fuera de la isla y solo pienso en translado, hospedaje, y el dejar a mis niños solos, aún estamos averiguando dónde y como puedo hacerme las, Dios meta su mano y me haga el proceso sencillo.

Greetings, my dear and cherished friends. May you all have a happy and blessed evening. I’m here recovering, but I’m on the right track. I don’t know if you remember that I mentioned how difficult it was for me to get chemotherapy here on the island due to the lack of an oncology specialist at the public hospital. After going back and forth so much, I managed to get treatment at a place where it was more affordable, but they didn’t have the specialist there either—instead, they were being managed by an assistant who’s on the island and communicates with her by phone.
Well, I’m telling you all this because a couple of weeks ago she arrived on the island and started seeing patients, and since I was about to finish chemotherapy, I wanted to go see her to find out what to do next.

Her consultation fee was $60, and honestly, all her scheduled consultation days were fully booked. The day I went, I arrived at 8 a.m. and left at 4 p.m.
After presenting my case to her and having her review my test results again, she told me that, due to the type of cancer, I need to undergo radiation therapy to seal off that area.

To be honest, I’d prefer it that way for safety’s sake, but the big problem is that they don’t offer radiation therapy here on the island—only on the mainland—and private treatments are quite expensive. I’ve been told that the system is a bit overwhelmed and there’s a waiting list.
It stresses me out a bit because I don’t have any family off the island, and all I can think about is the travel, lodging, and leaving my kids alone. We’re still figuring out where and how I can get the treatments. May God step in and make the process easy for me.
