Oath-Taking Ceremony at USJ-R CEBU CITY with my Friends : The Beginning of our Teaching Journey, Fully Pledged and Celebrating Wins
My heart is overwhelmed with pride and joy because of accomplishments I never dreamed I'd achieve.
Before I took the licensure examination, I prayed for a 100% passing rate for our batch, and God answer immediately.

I never expected I'd get to wear a garland with "LPT" and my name on it. My friend, Mommy Therese, made it herself. This garland keeps reminding me of that day- a reward for hardwork and for pushing through every challenge.

We woke up early to prepare. We did light make up and simple hairdos to look decent. After all the girl things, we headed out to buy breakfast at McDo near our budget hotel. We got burgers so they wouldn't upset our stomachs, and so we wouldn't get hungry while waiting. The ceremony was at 9:a.m. and it was only 6:a.m.
We decided to book a car for a smooth ride to the venue- of course, to avoid smudging our lipsticks,Lol. And to keep from looking haggard and and sweaty.

The car arrived quickly, but our order wasn't ready yet, so we started panicking. Fortunately, the driver was patient enough to wait for 5 minutes before leaving.
After a short ride, we arrived at the venue. Vendors were selling flowers and garlands outside the school. I felt stiff and off. Just as I was about to get out, my feet froze and I almost fell. Thankfully, I managed to control it. The boy selling beside the car saw what happened. It was embarassing, but I was thankful I didn't fall, or else I would've made a bad memory on such a special day.

It was crowded outside the school. We walked until we reached the gate, where we handed in our documents so we could get in. The school was huge and the venue was in the gymnasium. There were staff assisting outside the gym. They gave us the program booklet and the pin. While flipping through the booklet, we couldn't find our names. We asked for assistance, but thankfully, one of my friends spotted the list. We were relieved and proceeded inside.

The venue was breathtakingly beautiful and spacious, but after some time it was so full that all the seats were taken.

Just pure hardwork, dedication and perseverance earned me my pin, with the support of the good and kind people who never stopped believing in me.

It was done by 11:a.m., and I forgot to mention that there were two batches. We were the first batch, and the next batch was already waiting outside the venue.
It was so crowded that I couldn't keep up with my friends. The place was full of energetic people who were so excited to take photos.

After the unending picture-taking, we finally decided to head out. Even the road was full of traffic, so it was difficult to catch a bus, jeepney, or even book a car.

It took us one and a half hours for the car to arrive because of heavy traffic. Our feet hurt, our shoulders felt heavy and everything felt exhausting.
We headed to our budget hotel first before grabbing food.

And tadaaaaaa! We deserved something to eat after everything that happened. Fried rice with siomai toppings from Chowking. Very unhealthy, but yummy.

This ends my blog. Thank you for reading and stopping by. Lovelots😚
