Crypto's Resilience

Am a bit worn out so this write-up won't be very long. Trying to come up with an article is also a bit of a challenge today, so I've decided to turn an earlier feeling into a write-up. I was in awe of how the markets are striving to forge ahead despite all that has happened, particularly in the last few weeks.

The level of negative interruptions that have occurred since the beginning of the year can be more than enough to do a traditional company in. If the stock market had had nearly as many challenges for instance, there is a pretty decent chance that investor confidence would be at an all time low, making for a dismal year for returns.

Yet here on the blockchain, core investors are more adamant than ever. Everyone sees a downturn as an opportunity to either maintain or increase their positions. Granted, the year has not been all that great in terms of returns and value, but we really see what we want to see. From my perspective, things could have been much worse given the level of scandals but they aren't.

Investments keep pouring in all over the space, while we're certainly getting as much attention than ever before from regulators. This can be viewed in multiple ways, but again I see the interest as further validation that the technology is here to stay and will continue to be developed. If it could be erased by now it likely would.

Of course while the space itself has been resilient, it is important to continue to differentiate it from the projects that operate within. Not all projects are the same. The fact that many projects will fail does not mean the entire chain is bound for failure, or has no value. You do not bring a whole market down because of the failures or actions of a few bad players, when there is obvious proof of value in its dealings.

There are warnings that the challenges are still very much ahead, but the culture of resiliency that has been developed by players is a confidence booster. Let us also not forget that the real developments will likely take place during challenging times such as this one. We are likely to mature faster as a result of it, so going through the baptism isn't such a bad thing.

Conclusion

Anyone who is still actively involved in the space for all the right reasons is a part of the resilience story. Eventually, I believe we'd all be proved right, I just hope we position ourselves properly to benefit.

True, for the fact that a player fail shouldn't be used to judge all players, some projects hold their ground and there are doing well. Thank you for saying this @empress-eremmy
