Hiding in Plain Sight

We had a little chit chat today at the office on the best ways to double our income. Funny enough I didn't say much (matter of fact I don't think I usually do), but I enjoyed listening to opinions and shared experiences of how my colleagues and those they knew managed it. If there was one take home from that discourse, it was that opportunities are ubiquitious and continue to expand for those who pay significant attention.

Some of the best investment decisions we can make today do not cost an arm and a leg. As a matter of fact, they are available to us for next to nothing if we simply decided to pay attention to them. Some of them are tested and trusted, while some are unexplored and continue to await the forerunners willing to tap their potential.

The problem is not a lack of opportunity it seems, but an ability to identify them. The same UFC that was once a dying organization for instance has transformed into the biggest mixed martial arts organization in the World, and a multi-billion dollar franchize. Such is the nature of opportunities as it isn't quite about the 'where' but the 'how'.

I belive that the best opportunity anyone can take advantage of is access to a good education, and I have always been firm about education as my number one investment. Of course this doesn't always involve sitting in the four corners of a classroom, but in mastering how the nature of things are and how they work. This opens our sensitivity to even more opportunities on offer.

I also do not believe that the best opportunities should cost so much especially monetarily. If something is only available to a select group of people because of their income, then it does not represent true opportunity. A reason why the traditional financial system lost a large chunck of trust was because it favored a particular income group too heavily. Imagine an investment that offers marginal returns to investors. Only those with huge capital would really be able to benefit while the rest of us merely watch.

Of course when I think about opportunities I think about crypto and especially Hive. There are also opportunities within opportunities that we can score big if we paid attention. A good example is Polycub in the Hive chain. It isn't just crypto that offers big chances to invest though. Simply taking time to figure out how things work will do wonders for what we can accomplish.

In the corporate and office race, the one who succeeds is who has a side income or gig apart from their normal salary, and instead of going out for beers with the coworkers goes home to work on that side business, I know first-hand people who were able to resign to their day job because their side business skyrocketed.

You mentioned Polycub in your post, which caught our attention because we've been very involved with the Polycub ecosystem by adding all the farms and the xPolycub vault to our DeFi tracker, which allows users to track their positions with a lot of details. If you have any DeFi investments, we would appreciate if you check out our recently launched website app at https://defireturn.app

Patience is also required with opportunity and a right "exit" point to have gains.
