No Wasted Effort

I sometimes wonder if certain things are worth it. Take for instance the years I tried mending a romantic relationship I obviously saw was going downhill.

One thing about actions is that they compound. Hive provides no better use case scenario than what we see with the ability to earn and build one's portfolio. A little account of now becomes significant over time with the right level of action and consistency.

Action deposits are particularly important in the sense that they set the pace for whatever results are to be expected. My biggest drawback is procrastination, and every time I do procrastinate on something, I tend to build on it till I can break the cycle.

Tarazkp mentioned how there is usually a decline in activity on this chain during the bears, especially extreme ones like what we've experienced in the past. While it is unexpected we sink to such lows, I expect everyone to have learned valuable lessons on action deposits concerning the Hive chain.

Am not just talking about earning more by consistently blogging during the period. Other actions such as activity during those bears go a long way in building a reputation on the platform that will last far beyond the bears. For instance, some accounts gained the respect of the community by their actions during the said period and have been beneficiaries of their support.

Also beyond earning on the chain is an opportunity to learn during the bears like no bull run can teach. Such lessons are important for future growth trajectory and shouldn't be taken lightly. Take for instance lessons on stabilizing ones assets, crypto beyond price fluctuations and how best to handle financial setbacks can best be learned during this period.

Experience is the best teacher, and deciding to act during down times provide the best pathway to gaining valuable experience. It is really a win-win situation, as the worst possible outcome provides a solid foundation to run with in the future.

Conclusion

Our space is maturing, and sometimes it may seem like we're in way over our heads with some of the happenings on the platform. Examples like projects that seem meaningless and the ever present threat of regulatory clamp down makes the space an interesting one. Many people have concluded cryptocurrencies are a ponzi and have left. Those who see the bigger picture continue to put in the effort, hopefully building a sustainable system by their efforts that will prove itself.
