Fungi Friday - A Beautiful Field Mushroom
Greetings everyone, this is my first post in this community. I am a lover of nature, I don't hesitate to appreciate one when I see it.
Few days back I decided to take a walk down some farms that are behind our house and I came across this beautiful mushroom. It was right there standing close to a stump of wood. I really didn't want to capture it but I couldn't resist the beauty thereof.
So I took out my cell phone and got a few shots. I thought of bringing it home but unfortunately I can't tell if it was edible or not and I have not even eaten any mushroom before. so I decided to let it be.
I am really finding it difficult to get the exact name of the mushroom but I think it is called field mushroom with the scientific name Agaricus campestris. From a little research I learnt it is edible.

This mushroom looks big. Love eating them, the edible ones though. One has to be careful sorting them. They could be quite poisonous if you take the wrong ones.
I have never eaten any but am trusting God to try some soon.. the problem is, how can one really differentiate between the poisonous one and the good ones?
actually mushroom is very nice plant I ever ate the soup prepare by my father before when he prepare it once I could not eat it well but he still prepare it again and put some vegetables if you see how it taste the second time and since from that time I am just disturbing him to be preparing the soup every day because I just love the soup and the way God made it there of is very good nature
I am now seeing you like a celebrity.. I wish to have a taste of mushroom someday too
