"That house needs to be worked on John, If Grandpa were here right now, I wonder how mad he would have been at you. We can't leave the place desolate" she continued nagging. Gosh alright. Okay, Mom, I heard you I replied casually, as I took my bag and headed straight to the car.

Later that evening when I got back from work exhausted and famished, mama was already at the door waiting for me with a kind of look on her face that didn't look friendly. "My mother for life", I tried teasing her but obviously, she was not in a good mood. "Your food is in the kitchen, freshen up then eat."

After doing as she bids, I went to her room and asked," What's wrong with Mom? you didn't even make me some coffee today " When will you ever take me seriously about fixing Grandpa's place? Do you realize it's the only thing my dad left for us?" She replied. Gosh! This one hit me hard. "okay! I will take some days off from work and do it within the week, are you happy now?" I replied. " Get out of my room silly boy," she said while smiling.

Early the following day, I arrived at Wonderland, a city known for weird activities, whose inhabitants are known are known for sorcery. Grandpa's House still looks new and tidy, why was Mom so bothered then? I was wondering. We wanted to go inside the main house right away because the compound was neat but then at the back, we saw a bin," this must be part of it" I said. " let's help with with that," the boys that came with me asked to check it out but I declined. "Don't worry, let me check it out myself, just hang around I'll get back to you."

When I got closer to the bin, I sensed a strange atmosphere around it but I love my stubborn spirit. I gathered courage and opened it. "Are you sure you don't need our help over there? "The boys asked again. Ummh! " it's nothing guys, just some pieces of metals and old books."

Curiosity wouldn't let me be, I began digging deep into the bin, bringing out the books and the metals, suddenly, my phone started ringing, while I was trying to bring out the phone from the pocket with my left hand while my right hand was still in the bin, a long hand grabbed my right hand from the bin and forced me inside.

For a moment, I was lost, everywhere was dark, and suddenly, I saw myself in a strange world, I won't lie, it was a very beautiful place. Full of taps and magnificent buildings. Instantly, a creature that looks like a man but has long ears came and said "welcome." When i heard that, I was so frightened. "i didn't mean to scare you, we have been waiting for you for a very long time. Come Let me take you to your apartment," He said

I thought I was dead, I checked around to see if I was going to see my body but I only saw myself standing with the strange creature. "Please sir am I dead?" I asked while we were working. "No you are not, you are In Wonderland phase two, a place specially designed for coffee lovers and you are the first human on our list, enjoy your stay", he said as he took me to a very beautiful apartment.

Gosh! The thoughts of my mother clouded my mind but I couldn't reach her because there was no network there. After spending some time observing the place I went to the kitchen to take water and I saw a tap like the ones I saw outside. I was so excited because I was thirsty, I pressed the button on the tap to get water and I was surprised by what I saw, guess what it was something dark and warm with a sweet smell like coffee, I was so scared at first but then, I tasted it and I was not wrong at all, it was coffee.

I relaxed my self took five cups instantly before I started thinking of how to get water because I needed to take my bath and prepare some food. I searched the whole house and there was no water. I had to look for the person who brought me in and ask how I could get water. He laughed hard at me and said, "We brew water down here, I know you've tried getting it from the tap right? "He teasingly asked.

Hm! "brew water, How is that possible?" I left his place contemplating. on my way, I saw the inhabitants of the place brewing water but fetching coffee from the taps. "What a strange world," I said to myself. I know I love coffee but honestly, I can't survive here. Water is life, I expected it to be something I could easily get by like in my world.

After brewing water like twice to take my bath, cook, and wash, I gave up. I was just thinking, how I was going to survive that place, i am a kind of person that doesn't like stress, and i love using water all the time . The last time I tried buying water, I almost spent all I had earned. It was then I understood what the person who says "you may never know the value of what you have till you lose it", really meant. I appreciate the coffee but I can't stay here anymore.

I took some time and studied how the place works and after getting a sure way out, I used it for good. Honestly, I can't survive there, I missed my mom and the stress of getting water even made it worse.
