Good day hive Learner's family and welcome to my entry week 11 edition 01 contest

Over the years the only money I used to have to spend and to spare are the ones given to me by my parents, my siblings, acquaintancs, relatives etc, so I can call it gift. Sometimes I have to stay a while week without any peny until I go and ask or wait till someone is moved and decided to give me money. And if am given the money sometimes is it not enough even for me to spend talk more of saving, so I got tired of depending and being a burden to people and I decided to look for something to get money from.

I have no idea on how working for someone and get paid looks like but all I wanted was to get money for my self to cater for my needs, so I decided to write an application to a primary school, because I passed through college of Education therefore I have some ideas on teaching, atleast I know I can offer something in the field a little. I got discouraged by some persons who used to be in the field before due to lack of jobs who taught in private schools like I applied so they told me about the stress and how little the payment is nevertheless I took courage, I encouraged myself and decided to put off my mind and major focus on money and make my driving force be impartatimg knowledge to the younger ones irrespective of how much I'll be paid. Beside what will I be doing at home? It is better to earn small capital than sitting at home and begging. Meanwhile my friends told me about a hard labour job, we call it laborer, honestly I don't have enough strength to do that kind of job. finally I got the teaching job. The first day at work was something else, it was as though time decided to go to sleep, I entered my class I taught until I was fully drained of energy but with time I got used to the job, and I began liking it until it became part of me, though very stressful and strict each day I go home I wish the next day was Friday, and every Sunday am on tension already, Monday is already on its way. Honestly it was not too easy. Days seem not to be moving for me I had to wait for thirty (30) days before I can get paid, and I was using the little I had on transportation, I had to eat during the day at work, it became something for me and it was my first month at work, I spent the little cash I had until I had nothing left, I began to feel frustrated because the days were not moving thirty days were not small days and the salary that will be given to me is not even that tangible, all my shoes worn out , now the thought of new shoes are on my mind and the month was still far. The money I have already planned on, now I have another special demand .
At a point i thought of quiting the job because I thought I was only wasting my energy and resources and at the end I won't even recover it. I started thinking of other alternatives like going for a daily paid job other than staying for thirty days. I thought what if my parents were not there to feed me , how would I survive with this kind of job? But seriously the love I have for my pulpils and the desire to impart their lives for good kept me until It was thirty days and I finally got the money. And I stayed in the job beyond just thirty days afterwards. Meanwhile after gaining my first self earned money, I felt like a man. There was this special feeling I had in side my heart, a sense of responsibility, I was happy and the money even though it was just seven thousand Naira (7000) and it took me days and a lot of effort to gain, seemed big in my own eyes and I spent it with caution and joy. I could hear something telling me, now you are a man. You can now buy for yourself, you can now give someone and not wait until you're given. That experience was great honestly I can't forget it.

You had a beautiful first earning experience, it was tough but good because you learned and understood the value of what you worked for.

It seems everyone worked as a teacher, I did too but had to move on because my responsibility was bigger than my earning.
