Natural And Artificial Both Have A Role To Play In Our Lives

Their food and drugs were directly from plants, no processing, no preservatives, no chemicals.
Their environment was mostly surrounded by trees which acted as a source of ventilation and protection in terms of certain disasters like wind.
Their bodies were not exposed to air conditioning which has adverse effects on the body if consistently exposed to it.
Our ancestors lived longer, in good health and in strength. In their day, people lived a hundred year plus and still have the ability to walk by themselves, use their eyes without the aid of glasses and even go to farm.
But in our day, the opposite is what we have. Some people who are sixty to seventy years are already struggling to see clearly, some are diagnosed with diabetes which is already a threat to their lives.
Sometimes, I wonder why things like these are happening in our day. But looking closely at the kind of things we consume, and our environments, one can tell that a lot is wrong.
Everything has now become artificial, there is a measure of chemical in almost everything we consume, even the so called natural food, the vegetables, fruits and so on are now artificial.
Fertilizers and other special artificial treatments have affected them and the quality is lost.
I bought a water melon sometime ago, it looks so mature on the outside, but when I had the first bite I lost interest, the taste was nothing to write home about, guess it is truly “water melon” now.
This doesn't only apply to plants, even animals, the eggs we consume are artificial, the meat we eat from chicken, fish and other animals are artificial.
They consume feeds that make them grow abnormally, making them mature before their time.
The natural environment we had gradually faded away being overtaken by artificial ones.
How about our bodies, the pomade we apply on them, the make up, and special treatment? All of a sudden, someone who used to be dark in complexion now looks fair and you expect everything to be alright with the person's skin? Do you know what was removed from the skin to get that color?
I am not against artificial things, the aim is to make life better but our mistake is instead of having a little of artificial and more of natural, we completely removed natural from the picture keeping only the artificial, and here we are, struggling with the consequences.
But don't get me wrong, the fact that something is natural doesn't mean that it is always right. Sometimes, something natural can be detrimental too.
Herbs, which we believe are natural and very potent, can be very harmful to the body if consumed wrongly. The mixture can be fine but the dosage can be wrong. Consuming so much of it can lead to a serious problem.
But I don't agree that artificial can replace natural and work perfectly, both artificial and natural have their bad sides and artificial is always worse.
Take for instance transportation, olden days, means of transportation were walking, use of animals, bicycle, sailing ships, etc. Although they were slow, accidents were less and death through transportation was minimal.

Artificial means of transportation are fast, we use cars, planes, trains and ships, but accident rate is high and death by transportation is high.
In my opinion artificial can't replace natural and be perfect and natural can't also be perfect without a touch of artificial. Instead a balance between the two will work out well.

Indeed, a lot of disadvantages came with the artificial just like U pointed out the transportation aspect. We need to find a balance between nature and artificial.
Seriously, there are a lot of disadvantages with artificial but we can't do without it
Great sir that is to everything there must be disadvantages..
Thanks brother
Sure, thanks a lot broh..
How have you been na
I agree with you that both are great and have a role to play and that's why moderate usage and striking balance between both will bring about goodies to humanity.
