Nothing Good Comes Easy, Learning Can Be Both Easy And Hard.

Each time I see Hive Learners Motto; "Learning Never Ends," I smile, I can't count the number of times, it spurred me to embrace corrections that seem to be hard on me and keep pushing. Learning is a continuous process, it's something we can never exhaust. It begins from childbirth until death.

No matter your height in life, you still have so much to learn

One thing I love about life entirely is the fact that whatever it throws our way, ends up teaching us something.

Learning can be both simple and difficult depending on whether we once had experience with what we want to learn or not. When we are faced with things that we have no prior knowledge of, learning becomes difficult at first then subsequently gets easy.

And when it's something we have little knowledge of, it makes the whole thing very easy even from the beginning.

Whatever the case may be, what makes people learn amongst many others is persistence and hard work. Whether a thing is very easy for you to learn or not, if you don't persist and commit yourself to it, you will never learn.

Last year, I followed my neighbor to their farm during planting season. My parents don't have any farm but my grandfather has, funny enough we only go to his farm to harvest crops, I have never gone during the planting period.

When we got to the farm, I thought it was maize we were going to sow because I am familiar with planting maize, two seeds per hole, and a Little distance.

I already picked a cutlass waiting for them to give me some maize seed to start planting but I was given guinea corn. Ha! I told their Mother "Ma, I have never planted guinea corn before." She looked at me with her mouth agape. "For real? Don't worry you will learn," She replied.

In response, I said, "Okay, show me how to do it," She laughed and then planted a few ridges. After that, she asked me to try it out.

I did it wrongly at first then started getting it right. Did you know that in the end, I planted more than all of them? My speed, spacing, and accuracy were something else. The woman was like you are a fast learner, I just laughed and said "Thank you Ma, you are a good teacher."

A few weeks later, my mom got a farm and decided that she was going to sow guinea corn. When we got to the farm, she was surprised at the way I was planting it because she knew I had never done it before. She asked where I learned it from and I told her from our neighbor.

The Difficult Experience.

Before I started Hive, I was someone who didn't know much about crypto and digital things as a whole. Most times when I am discussing with people and they start talking about crypto or anything online I shy away.

I tried them a few times and seriously, they were not just giving me the vibes I wanted. It took my friend @ovey10 a very long time to convince me to join Hive. Part of the reason was because I thought I wouldn't cope. My mentality then was that anything digital was not just for me. To God be the Glory, I joined and it was not as tough as I thought it was.

Some months back I wanted to learn how to convert Hive into my local currency. My big boss @dwixer was ever willing to help.

He took his time and guided me through my first transaction. I won't lie, it was like he was doing magic, whenever he asked if I understood I said "yes," in order not to discourage him but seriously I was so confused.

After the first transaction, I came to try it the second time alone, and guess what? I didn't know where I took the coin in the Binance App.

I had to call him to help me out again and he gladly did. And he told me something, "Take your time, and keep practicing, you will be good at it with time." I needed his advice and it worked.

Although it took me about 15 to 30 days to be able to master how to convert Hive into my local currency. At some point I almost gave up but thank God for my stubborn heart I kept trying even when I failed and eventually, I got it.

Both experiences made me understand that if I don't give up on a thing, no matter how bad I am at it, I'll surely get it right in the end, although i need to be interested in learning it.

Thanks For Reading

Stubborn heart indeed 😅😅
Learning is not that difficult, except we aren't putting our minds to it or that we are doing something that isn't meant for us. With persistence in learning something comes perfection in it. One doesn't get it right at first, surely, we would get it wrong but when we keep trying, we get better at it.

Hmm, you made a good point here ma, when you are trying to learn the wrong thing, you might just end up frustrating yourself because nothing good will come from it.

Persistence and willingness to learn does so much when it comes to learning.

Thanks so much for stopping by🥰

You made classic points in this article brother. Of a truth, learning can both be easy and hard of you look at it critically. But the fact is that they is nothing we can't learn if we put our mind to it. Just like you said about your hive journey, it's important to keep trying even when we fail.

Sure, if we put our mind to something, it will surely become easy for us along the way. Thanks for stopping by boss

Learning crypto is scary to me because what if I loose my money in the process?

I was once in such situation where I lost TRX worth $9 because I lost track on the process practising alone.

Eya, we are much in this, your mistake was learning alone, most times this crypto something needs someone to guide you through

One thing I have actually come to discover is the fact that life comes to one suddenly and most times we really need to fight it and fight it till we make it

For sure, giving up is where the problem lies, as along as we keep fighting, we will surely scale through in the end

It took you just under 30 days to learn? Man, I totally get it. It took me a while to get it also. In fact, it really is so complex that many don't even bother learning it and just reach out to their friends to do it for them each time. You aren't alone, man. On the contrary, you must be a natural farmer. I found this gem on Dreemport.

Heheh, I thought papa too wanted saying it took him long, I wouldn't have believed you, heheh. This crypto thing is difficult to learn but with a good teacher, it will always end well.

Thanks for hopping in papa🙇❣️

I lost a few coins myself before I learned how to transact #hive into the local currency or buy hive, one thing is
sure mistakes happen a lot of time but if we don't give up we can always achieve out aims.

Wow! That means it was not even as tough as I thout it, since I hadn't lost any coin before. You are right, it only when we give up that the story goes south but if we keep pushing, we will sure win

oh @emreal this post made me chuckle... so much... hehe... I still don't know how to convert Hive to my local currency - Eish!! I had a lesson... and I forgot lol. So I understand the challenge. Hive as an ecosystem is not the easiest to learn as a newbie. I still come across things that are new to me all the time... and one day I might just get someone to show me the ropes again hahaha. I'm glad @dwixer gave you support during your early days on Hive, and now you pass on your support to others.

Love that your kindness and support towards your neighbour later empowered you to help your own family.

I came across your post in Dreemport this evening.

Heheh, you mean you still don't know how to convert hive into your local currency? Now It is confirmed that I was not wrong when I said it was difficult 🤣

Hive is a broad world, each day we learn new things down here. Thanks God for the amazing people on the chain who are always willing to help out.

Dwixer has been of so much help, I can't thank hive enough.

You remember kindness collaboration on Dreemport? Truly when you feed others you get fed as well.

Thanks so much for reading ma🥰
