What I Saw On Social Media Versus What I Saw In Real Life

I met Titi on Facebook, I didn't want to relate with her at first because most Nigerian lady's Hi! Is send me 2k (two thousand naira) and honestly, I am not daddy Santa Claus, so I always keep a distance.

She was one of the hottest girls on my Facebook those days, everyone seems to be tagging her on their posts and again she always posts great pictures. Subsequently, I took a risk and sent her a message. surprisingly, I didn't get a send me 2k as a response. So, I got comfortable and we continued vibing.

You know guys, I didn't hesitate, I went into her profile, checked all her pictures and they were all great. "You got this man," I said to myself. As the very sharp and smart guy that I am, with a first class in the affairs of love and relationships, I didn't hesitate to get into her head, and soon both of us became obsessed with each other.

Chatting from morning till evening and yet never getting satisfied, from chatting to calls and it was all going well. After some time, I felt like I should ask her for a relationship. At first, I thought it would be nice to wait until we meet first but love has taken over my mind. was that truly love? Let's just say the beautiful pictures I was seeing were driving me crazy lol.

I decided to try my luck, I asked her for a relationship and she seemed to be waiting for me to open up all this while, I got a yes for an answer, hehe, I knew it, I knew she would not be able to resist my charm.

After some time, I got tired of the blind date, so, I decided to ask if I could see her, she gave me a yes again and we fixed a day. Usually, I don't like visiting new people alone. I begged a good friend of mine to come with me and I was lucky he agreed.

When the day reached, I called her early in the morning, it was as if time was not moving fast, I was so curious, I just wanted to see that beautiful damsel. "Hey babe, hope you know it's today? I would be coming by 2:00 pm" I notified her. "Okay my love, I can't wait to see my king," she replied. I beamed, blushing, as I hung up the call. She was excited too I could sense it from her response.

Gosh! Time, time, I slept, woke up, slept, woke, and finally, the hour was here, she already gave me a description while we were chatting. We took a bike and in no time, I and my friend were on their street. I put a call through, and the sweet voice on the phone, answered, "Are you there already?" "Yes babe, I am. Just come straight to the mango tree at the junction you asked me to stop at," I replied.

I and my friends looked for a place there and sat down while waiting for her and boom I saw a dark, slim, tall lady with trial marks coming from afar. My friend tapped me," I hope that's not your Titi?" He asked. "Come on she can't be. She will be here in no time time" I replied smiling faintly, trying to give myself solace deep inside as well.

The same lady seemed to be making a phone call and boom, my phone started ringing, my Friend laughed hard, and said: "Broh, let's run, Let's just do as if we are not the ones and walk down to where we can get a bike and go home". I wanted to heed to his advice but then she sighted me and came there straight.

"My looooove" she tried to hug me, ah! I closed my eyes and gave her a side hug, I noticed my friend was already laughing but pretending. I checked the lady again, and I couldn't see the shape I saw on social media. The back was flat but on Facebook, it was there. There was no tribal mark on Facebook but here she is with marks. worst of all her voice was like that of a man in real life.

Thank God, I came with my friend, I quickly rushed the conversation and told her I was going to come again next Sunday. That was how we never met again to date. I came home feeling disappointed and hurt but who sent me? They say love is blind but I wonder why my own eyes were opened that day. I wished it was the Titi I saw on Facebook that I met but unfortunately, it was another person.

Please let's always do our best to stay real, it's good to use and make-ups, I love beautiful things too but, let's not make our lives depend on those things completely. Some people have two forms, the way they are on social media is different from what they are in real life. Be real, be yourself, and those who will love you will still appreciate you for who you are.

Thanks For Reading. Happy Sunday

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I kept laughing all through. See fake lifestyle oo. Some girls ehn.... you got the opposite of what was on her profile. So shameful of her.
There is nothing hard in staying true and real rather than faking it.

LoL.. who sent me? I learnt from that day, never to accept or take anything too serious without first of all seeing it.

Being real is the best option, whether you are beautiful or not, a person who loves you genuine will still love you, no need to fake it.

Thanks for reading ma

Honestly, relationship on social media seems like a lame kind of relationship. I don't how one can go to a relationship without meeting physically. From one perspective it was funny but from another perspective, both parties played with emotion and both of you have done wrong. Love because of physical appearance means no love, it's greediness.

You are right sir, love shouldn't be based on physical appearances and again one should always be real so that a person can choose whether to stay or not depending on the personality he or she knows.

Thanks so much for reading mate🥰
