The rain Forrest

Hello readers and fellow bloggers, on today's write up I will be taking you around my garden also known as the rain forest.

it is a family farm land owned by my dad and the rest of the family we all have our portion of it, though it is not compulsory for every member of the family to farm on the farm land, it is just something the whole family enjoying doing.
over the years it has become a culture for us, we plant a lot of stuff on the land and harvest it when due. I will be sharing an update when the next harvest is due.

our major plantation on the farm land is cassava, we plant a lot of it periodically because it serves a lot of purpose, like use it as yam, blend it as garri or white wheat. The casava plantation is also my portion of the farm, I have been working on it since my primary school days. Though it is not only I that does the work on the casava plantation but the maintenance is on me.

the land stretch as much as 5 plots of land at ikorodu, our home town. we call it the rain Forrest because there are a lot of trees on the land and whenever we visit the farm, there is this shower of water that rain from the trees, it so refreshing. Though it is not advisable to walk through the trees early in the morning, the heavy shower from the trees can cause you to shiver.

There is a shade on the farm, where we relax during sunny days and in the shade there are also cooking equipment. the cooking part is the most exciting thing on the farm because it makes have this wild life experience. we hunt bush meats on farm and take it to the shade, it is always an amazing experience. Though the shade was not built by my family, like I said earlier, the farm is a family farm, it has been passed down through the family from generation to generation.
