El día de hoy decidí darme un día para mí misma lejos de casa, durante meses, diría que años yo misma he cortado y arreglado mi cabello y no he tenido la oportunidad de ir a un salón de belleza para que me atiendan, ya que por temas económicos nosotras las mujeres siempre pensamos en la casa y lo más importante (alquiler, comida, servicios, etc) y se nos olvida que invertir en nosotras mismas también es importante.
Revisando mi instagram, recordé el salón de belleza más popular aquí en la ciudad donde te garantizan un trabajo profesional de parte de la estilista Lorena Ríos, una señora que ha viajado al exterior y ha estudiado muchísimo todas las áreas de peluquería y estilismo profesional.
Today I decided to give myself a day for myself away from home, for months, I would say years I have been cutting and fixing my hair myself and I have not had the opportunity to go to a beauty salon to be attended, because due to economic issues we women always think about the house and the most important things (rent, food, services, etc) and we forget that investing in ourselves is also important.
Checking my instagram, I remembered the most popular beauty salon here in the city where you are guaranteed a professional job from the stylist Lorena Rios, a lady who has traveled abroad and has studied a lot all areas of professional hairdressing and styling.
Contacté al salón de belleza y me cotizaron el corte en 10$ y también mencionaron que estarían haciendo una jornada en beneficio a las personas con cáncer del "Huapa", hospital universitario de acá en Cumaná, y que tendrían promociones, como cortes en 2$ y corte + secado en 5$. Me pareció una buena oportunidad para ser mi primera vez yendo a este sitio y le comenté a mi amiga @luna-aitana y a su hermano @luish18, y planificamos para ir.
I contacted the salon and they quoted me the haircut for 10$ and also mentioned that they would be doing a day to benefit people with cancer at "Huapa", a university hospital here in Cumaná, and that they would have promotions, like haircuts for 2$ and cut + blow dry for 5$. It seemed like a good opportunity for my first time going to this place and I told my friend @luna-aitana and her brother @luish18, and we planned to go.
La experiencia fué espectacular desde que llegamos, ya que pasamos a un sector dónde nos lavaban el cabello y masajeaban la cabeza, después nos sentaban en una sala a esperar nuestro turno para que la propia dueña se encargara de cortarnos el cabello al estilo que quisieramos, yo decidí cortarlo bastante por el calor y porque quería un nuevo look, también nos ofrecieron café o té de manzanilla, y luego, de último el secado. Tienen un personal espectacular, el sitio es súper fancy, con gente muy amable y quedé encantada con todo.
The experience was spectacular from the moment we arrived, since we went to a sector where they washed our hair and massaged our heads, then they sat us in a room to wait our turn so that the owner herself was in charge of cutting our hair to the style we wanted, I decided to cut it quite a lot because of the heat and because I wanted a new look, they also offered us coffee or chamomile tea, and then, finally the drying. They have a spectacular staff, the place is super fancy, with very nice people and I was delighted with everything.
El resultado final me encantó y quedé con muchísimas ganas de volver para cambiar mi color de cabello en un futuro no muy lejano, y pues la moraleja del día es... el amor propio también es invertir dinero en nosotros mismos para sentirnos bien.
