Today I bring you this easy tutorial to learn how to make a cute hand sewn pencil case.
Materials:
- Printed fabric
- Zipper
- Scissors
- Pins
- Thread and sewing needle
Lo primero que haremos es recortar dos rectangulos de tela de 30 cm de largo x 15 cm de alto.
Los doblaremos a la mitad y sujetaremos con alfileres para luego coser los lados.
The first thing we will do is cut out two rectangles of fabric 30 cm long x 15 cm high.
We will fold them in half and fasten them with pins and then sew the sides.
Luego de coser los dos rectangulos vamos a hacerles una costura en forma de triángulo para crear la base de la parte interna y externa de la cartuchera.
After sewing the two rectangles together, we will sew a triangle-shaped seam to create the base of the inside and outside of the pencil case.
Al coserlo vamos a voltear uno de ellos que será la parte externa, y el otro lo metemos dentro de manera que encajen los dobleces.
When sewing, we will turn one of them over, which will be the external part, and the other one we will put inside so that the folds fit together.
Por último, vamos a hacer unos pequeños dobleces en la parte de arriba e introduciremos el cierre para luego coserlo.
Finally, we will make a few small folds at the top and insert the zipper and then sew it.
