Little Cutie

Hello esteemed members of @diyhub community members, wishing us all a happy new week and prospective new month in advance. today am thrilled to share with us all one of the diy craft I made.

For today's diy, I decided to make a cute little cup which would be use or serve as a means of storage for sweets. My little cousin came to spend some time with us since they are on holiday now and she loves taking sweets a lot but most times she end up not taking the quantity I bought and it either she forgets it in my purse or somewhere else so I decided to make this cup to ease the stress and for easy accessibility whenever we purchase sweets. Since sweets are light in weight, the cup is so perfect to keep them inside.

So to begin with the cup, these were the materials I used:

*Cardboard paper
*Evostic glue
*Rule
*Pencil
*Scissor

PROCEDURES

Firstly, I placed the rule on the cardboard paper and then marked out fifteen centimeters by fifteen centimeters (15cm*15cm) with the use of a pencil afterwards I cut out the shape using a scissor.

Secondly, I folded the paper in two in a rectangular form and again folded it into two in a square format. I opened it up again and then folded it a little to get to the line I had first created from the initial stage of the folding.

I continued to fold up cause the goal Is to have about seven to eight straight line which was achieved.

Thirdly, I opened it up and cut out one part of the folded paper. This is because we want the cup not to go out of shape.

Fourtly, I used scissor to cut out the already marked lines which was on the paper which is going to serve as the base of the cup.

Fifth, I cut out the first strip after which I applied an evostic glue and glued it to the other end of the cardboard.

Next was to glue the base and I did that gluing each strip together one at a time till I got to the last one.

Sixth, I cut out a 6cm*6cm square and folded it which served as the handle of the cup.

Lastly, I drew an eyes and mouth coupled with a little bow to make the cup more fashionable.
