Crypto silver and the gold bits

The fun thing about the crypto bull market is that you start seeing more merchandize about them.

This time, I found a piece depicting Ethereum on APMEX. It's an 1-ounce silver round. Next to it is the silver version of the coin from the John Wick series. Like the Doge counterpart, it might be worth looking into the gold versions in the future. Who knows? I may come across ones with ADA or SOL on them soon.

The best part about these was that they costed about as much as buying 1 ounce of silver each. So, even for a collectible, I felt they were worth the price.

Other than that, I chose a lighter approach this time around. I opted for a few grams of gold instead of my usual acquisition of silver. They are starting to feel heavy.

For your information, 1 troy ounce is about 31.1 grams. Troy ounce and ounce are two different measurements. When I, or most people, are writing about bullions and rounds, they are using the Troy system. I'm sure many of you already know this, but wanted to point that out to those who aren't aware. When we mention ounces, we are referring to the troy ounces.

In this context, every 32 gram of gold you get will yield you over an ounce of gold. This should help when you cost average into precious metals. Remember, many a little will become a mickle.

I know many people in the precious metals communities either love or hate Cryptocurrencies. Since the Bitconnect fiasco, adoption has been tough in this group and the subject has divided when it should have united both Communities.
When I knew Silvergoldbull accepted Bitcoin as payment for products and demonstrated to me that it worked I was in! Since then Provident, Scottsdale and Apmex also accommodated Crypto.
The appearance of Crypto icons in PMs bodes well as gradual acceptance and we can be united before the Central Institutions that are the real enemy.

I did not know about the divided feelings amongst folks of the precious metal community. But, I'm glad you see this as a good sign.
