Cryptobrewmaster Today

avatar

It's been a while since I've talked about Cryptobrewmaster. The game has changed quite a bit from its inception. It started as an idle clicker with aims to the metaverse. As time went on, it became more complex as the dev team took into account of changing landscape and player behaviors.

I remember the outrage from the players when the team took measures to curb exploits in the game. We all know that you can never eliminate abuse, but you want to mitigate them. And in this case, the team has done a decent job over time. They still have a roadmap that they update regularly.

To me, the game has now become more of a small business simulator than an idle clicker. Unlike the original iteration of the game, there are now more logistics for players to think about for their small brewing business. Like all businesses, you need some capital to start.

For one, players would need to look into supply and demand instead of producing a warehouse load of items to sell indefinitely. Because of that, it's worth asking yourself about your production strategy. Are you going to be a brewer? Are you going to play the secondary market? Are you going to participate in weekly events? Or, are you going into the brewing ingredients business?

Depending on your choices, there are other questions players would have to ask themselves. For example, do you want to rent or own a production facility? Should you invest in upgrades and equipment for your operation?

By the way, the upgrades and equipment in the game are NFTs. So, you'll own your gears. I hate using the term "invest" in a game because it suggests you will get a return. It's a game, a potentially fun one. Don't quit your day job. Especially not during the bear market.

Of course, if you are a casual gamer, it doesn't matter. Your focus should be on enjoying yourself and checking back every so often.

The only thing that bothered me was how fast and chaotic the recent cross-chain implementations came to be. So many things were happening at once that it was hard for me to keep track.

Overall, I still enjoy playing the game. I probably have put in more money than I got out of it, but that's not the point. It's one of the better-looking games out there. The team is still chugging along despite the market conditions and the war in their homeland of Ukraine.

If you think you might enjoy an idle clicker that doubles as a small business simulator, you should give Cryptobrewmaster a shot (affiliate link).

To get you started, you may want to check out @cryptobrewmaster's most recent post. It tells you how you could get some starter bonus to help you get into the game.

That's great it is still kicking around. I totally forgot about this game. I think I still probably have some assets and stuff, but I haven't logged-in in quite some time.

I never had that much in terms of assets. I'll have to log back in again though.

I am glad the game is still being developed, It looked like it was going to be a Rug Pull so I chose not to buy in. It's tough knowing if a dApp is legit or if its all for show. Thank you for keeping up to date on the game, it seems like a lot of fun now!

Honestly, the team is still working despite of the war in Ukraine. Even if it falls apart, I think it’s understandable.

I think that alone deserves some merit.

Was reading through the game posts on discord and just saw this. Good post and i agree on the investing thing. If it ever turned into something like axie I’d be worried about longevity. I think the best would be a few dozen more players who play to enjoy the game rather than trying to profit would be ideal. I spend almost all my earnings in game to improve my gameplay. The devs came up with a great economy i think, and as long as there’s always improvements we can make i think it will thrive. It’s an awesome game when you get to understand all the dynamics! I was thinking of doing a giveaway with my old alpha brewery and a few duplicate nfts of mine, will these tags you used here all be good for that?
