How often do you update your profile on Hive?
This is more of a question asking about you guys' creativity and thought process.
Profile pics and backgrounds are personal choices. I have changed mine several times since I've been on Hive and its former iteration. Sometimes, I want to change things up. It's actually difficult to find things that seem to fit my personality. And nah, I'm not about to put in actual photos of myself as an avatar.
For those of you who didn't know, @peakd allows you to have .gifs as backgrounds. So, I have been indulging myself with that for some time. Many of you assumed you could only add static pictures, but that hasn't been true for most likely over a year. If I knew a way to display some of them on dPoll, I would.
Here are some examples of profile pics I've used here on Hive over time:
I went from a plate of cookies to Kira from JoJo's Bizarre Adventures. Then, Hei from Dark Than Black to a scene from Persona 5.
I tend to use characters from animes/mangas/video games. I try to change the profile description to something witty, but alas, I'm not that creative.

Funny you should ask this as the first time my profile was altered was just after the HIVE fork when my HIVE account's avatar was changed to a caricature of Elvis and the Title/Name to ThankYaVeryMuch.
It has recently been changed back to what it has been since landing on STEEM in 2016. Perhaps the reason behind the changes would be deserving of a post of its own.

I think I remember changing just once. Which was a week or two after joining steem in 2018, and since then it has been the same till date.
Even after migrating to Hive, I still used the same image only that my username which was previously written in blue is now written in red 😂

Yes! I thought of changing it yesterday. I was about changing it before I changed my mind again.
Never, haven't changed it since the day I paid to go on some site and create it years ago. I like when people stay the same as they are more readily identifiable as you often see their avatar before you even read the name.
Yeah, easier recognition is a perk. I just get bored with the same look sometimes.
I've gotten bored with mine sometimes also, sort of starts looking a bit bland...then I think what I would change it to and really there isn't a whole lot of space there to be creative so I just leave it. I look at some people's and I ask myself "what the hell is that?"....lol, then I click on it to see exactly what the picture is of. I don't want to put people through all that....lol.

I'm still trying to make things on Hive work well for me, and so I change my profile info at least once a month.
Also, it seems that there is something wrong with your poll options. What if somebody updates their profile every 1.5 to 2 months? They might be confused as to whether to respond with "Frequently" or "Sometimes" on your poll.
They can choose the option “other” then.
Well, it is possible, but then you and those interested in your poll would need to manually look at the additional description on the response of the voters who selected that option.

I think I have changed mine a couple of times, but it has been relatively the same for the past year or so. I found a combination that works for me and I have just kept it that way.
I don't think I will ever get to that point.

I like consistency in profile images. I might start changing the background image to match the current album being promoted.
