When things transferred over to Hive from Steem did they develop their own Hive Engine or does everything still work off Steem Engine. It's been a long time since I've been to the Engine, sort of forgot about actually so much so I forgot the name of it when I wanted to go take a look at it when I was on Steemit last week. I guess I should ask if when the transfer occurred did it bring along the alt tokens off steem engine also....if Hive has it's own engine does that take a different keychain?
They are different things. And yes, there exist Hive Keychain, which is different from Steem Keychain. I hope you didn't keep keys from both places the same.
I have a steem keychain, I may have used it the other night to get into Hive version of steem engine...I don't know I am rather confused. I don't think I could have gone into the Hive engine without using it. No one is suppose to have access to your steem keychain is what I thought. How do I get a Hive keychain. Doesn't that really just protect the alts in the engine? Doesn't appear any of them do that well to be that concerned about. That still leaves my wallet susceptible to steem because I guess you had to have a back up person or someone you could trust or something along those lines. The only person I'd trust in that regard would be MarkyMark and I have a wishy washy relationship with him but ultimately he's a person who don't put up with anyone taking advantage of another person regardless whether you are on a cold, hot or lukewarm term.
It sucks doesn't it! I just started shaving my head so I don't see them as much anymore, but I know if I were to let it grow out they would hold the majority!

If you can get into Steem and Hive with the same keys, that means you haven’t changed them since the chain forked.
May want to amend that. Ask someone you know that can walk you through it.
Let me guess your in your 40’s

Haha no. Still in early 30s. Just noticed there's a single white hair.

It is sometimes hereditary too, check your parents/relatives hair color.

I'm not too worried. It's just part of life.

I guess I'll have to look forward to them gradually turning.
