The Most Annoying Anime Character of All Time

         In all my years of watching anime, I've seen all sorts of characters. Some were memorable, some were not. The worst kind, of course, is the annoying type. I'm not talking about the cutesy kind either.

         Today, I present to you the most annoying characters of all time: Aqua, the goddess of water from KonoSuba.

         Aqua is what happens when you hire a voice actress and have her perform exaggerated cries for most of the role. She's selfish, whiny, self-absorbed, petty, etc. and the list goes on. That doesn't mean she's not a great character. She's great in the sense that she fits into the comedic setting of the entire series.

         She's the type of person that you rejoice because of her suffering. It sounds terrible, but it's because she's an awful person.

         Now, there are folks out there who would consider Aqua to be a worthy anime waifu. All I can say to that is, whatever floats your boat. Sometimes, what we find attractive in anime can be a reflection of a deeper issue in real life.

         Under no circumstances should you find Aqua's antics wholesome in any partnership. For laughs, definitely. Whatever you do, don't end up with someone who is as selfish as the water goddess. You'll be in a world of hurt and abuse. She has demonstrated that time and again throughout the series. Aqua causes problems. She's useless in many situations. She resurrects Kazuma for her selfish ends.

         Back to how annoying she is, here is over 6 minutes of her antics for your enjoyment. You may want to turn the volume down or take some to meditate afterwards.

         Remember, you can't trust a thot who proclaims herself as a goddess. She suffered so we may find solace in our frustrations.
