Siempre humilde más no conforme 🧠- Always humble but not conforming
[eng]Humility is one of the most beautiful qualities that any human being can have. Being humble has become a virtue that unfortunately many people do not have. **What would the world be like if we were all humble? It is one of those questions that the answer is very well known to get. It should be noted that I refer to humility in personality and not by economic status.
[eng]I have met so many people who are ashamed of where they come from, they have a hard time assuming their reality that they live and spend their time in a fantasy world. This has become a common denominator in a world that is driven by vanity and material things.
[eng]When I was in college I met a person who did not like to talk about his place of residence and the group really missed us, there was a diversity of social classes and the truth was that there was never any discrimination. One day. We found out that she lived in the Vega, currently one of the most dangerous areas of Caracas, and not only that but she lived in one of the neighborhoods where the level of delinquency was quite strong. I remember that once we had to go to his house to do some work because that person could not go out due to health problems and we all needed to be there. It was a very uncomfortable moment since he was practically running us out of his house with his words and attitudes. After a few weeks he came clean with us and let us know that he was very embarrassed to tell us where he lived and to have people come to his home.
[eng]On the other hand I have a friend who lives in a neighborhood here in the Guaira in a rather humble house and loves to be visited and sit and talk outside on the porch. You might think that he is comfortable living there and is conformist with what he has, but nothing could be further from the truth. He is one of the most enterprising and driven people I know, so we don't get along very well.
[eng]Being in an economic situation does not define a permanent status. I also live in a neighborhood and I do not deny it, the desire I have to leave here to a more comfortable and quiet area is always latent, however I know my roots and I assumed my reality. I know that I have to work to achieve it and that's what I'm doing, little by little, working as an ant and with a lot of focus. Always humble in every situation because it was instilled in me since I was a child.
[eng]I often find it hard to accept or understand how a large number of people find it hard to assume that due to certain circumstances they have to live in a place where they do not feel comfortable. To assume it is not to conform, to assume it is to be aware that certain situations have led to that and that we must look for a way out; however, being grateful for the little that we have and fight for what we want.
[eng]Living in a neighborhood, people have had an excellent academic formation, I managed to graduate from college, I have had good jobs and fought hard to get ahead, always with humility. I have not stopped dreaming, on the contrary, every time that dream gets stronger and I go for it.

Don't be ashamed of where you come from, be ashamed if it embarrasses you. Life is not hard or bad, it's just life and you have to live it, make the most of your time and don't stay in regrets.
