I pranked my best girl 😂

I'm not much of a prankster anyways, but sometimes, what needs to be done should be done.

And the reason I decided to prank her isn't far fetched. She started it first. About a month ago, I received a call from her that she sent me a package and the delivery person will need my hostel name.

So I gave her all the necessary details she might need to get to me, because there was the tendency that I wouldn't be in the room.

After so much back and forth, she said the delivery person will get to me before I leave for my class.

Exactly 2pm, I received a call that the person is waiting for me outside and I need to come downstairs to collect my package.

I wore my slippers and moved downstairs with the intention to just collect my package and come back upstairs.

Immediately I got downstairs, guess who I saw? My friend!

I was so shocked and surprised. Because she was meant to be in Lagos, and now she is here pretending to be a delivery person.

So I told her I was going to do my own back.

So it happened that, I had the intention of coming to Lagos, and I had been thinking of how to get home and surprised her without her knowing.

But the lord being on my side, my parents cancelled out on my having to come home, so I was left with just the option of going back to school. So I informed her about the change in plan.

But few days to when I was meant to resume back to school, my parents called again, and ask that I come home and that was because my younger brother wasn't having any of it. Actually, I can understand. Hahaha. I haven't been home in ages.

So I agreed to come home. But I didn't inform my friend about the new update, I just felt it was not necessary since I had the intention to prank her before.

On the day I was to come home, we spoke on the phone for a very long time, and I didn't still drop any hint.

She was even asking when I was going to take off back to school, so I told her by 4pm of that same day. She wished me journey mercies.

I packed my bags and all I had, and moved to the pack, soon enough, we arrived Lagos. Because sincerely, that was the fastest journey I have ever been on.

Immediately I arrived home, and have greeted everyone, it was now time to do my own prank. So I walked quietly into her compound. We actually live just three houses away from each other.

But immediately I entered the gate, I saw her first, but she didn't see me.

So I shouted her name to inform her of a presence. She looked towards me, and went from shock, to surprise to jumping and screaming.

We hugged each other and we couldn't stop talking at the same time.

It was a really beautiful experience. More so, because she has always said I can't successfully prank her, but then, I diddd!

In all, I'm glad to be home especially with my best girl.
