Recordar es vivir; siempre que recordamos las abuelas, nos llenamos de nostalgia y es como volver revivir toda esas enseñanzas que nos dejaron. Mis abuelos no tuve la dicha de conocerlos, porque se fueron al paraíso de Dios.

Mis abuelas eran muy sabias y trabajadoras. Mi abuela materna siempre nos decía cuando teníamos gripe y tos que no podíamos comer cambur porque era frío.

En mi tercer embarazo se me presentó un problema placenta previa y me recomendó el Doctor reposo. Mi abuela decía.. Que los bebés que nacían de 7 meces no les pasa nada que se crían, pero si nacía de ocho meses no se salvan. Cuando se me presento el parto yo sabía que se me había adelantado y cuando llegue al hospital la Doctora que me recibió lo primero que me mandó hacer fué un ecografía. El doctor que realizó el eco dijo a la enfermera "embarazo de 32 Semanas pero se ve todo normal y bien" llévalo a la Doctora. __ La Doctora me dijo..__" Ya oíste la niña viene de 8 meses puede venir con algún problema, aunque se ve normal" yo quedé en silencio pensado lo que me decía mi abuela. Me dejaron en el cuarto, para esperar la hora del parto... Cuando me quedé sola con mis dolores, me arrodillé y le pedí con todo mi corazón y mi fé a Dios y a La Virgen de La Caridad " que mi hija viniera bien. Con esperanza, fe y amor, en promesa le colocaré el nombre de Caridad. Así fue mi hija nació bien de todo, lo único que le faltaba era madurar los pulmones. Le colocaron una inyección para eso y tenía que llevarla a la revisión pediátrica a los 20 días para ver su evolución. Entonces yo digo que eso es dicho de caminos viejos los embarazos de 8 meses, los niños si se crían. Gracias a Dios y La Virgen.

With hope, faith and love, as a promise I will give her the name Caridad. That's how it was, my daughter was born well, the only thing she needed was to mature her lungs. They gave her an injection for that and I had to take her to the pediatric check-up at the 20 days to see their evolution. So I say that that is said of old ways, 8-month pregnancies, children are raised. Thank God and Our Lady.

Mi abuela paterna, era también muy trabajadora le gustaba sembrar flores y hortalizas, siempre tenías diferentes siembras en su terreno. Le gustaba sembrar lirios, calas, claveles, helechos, rosas y geranios en cestas. Eran muy bonito con tantas matas floreadas; era como estar en un paraíso. Ella decia " Que el que trabaja no come monte" porque siempre tiene sus verduras y alimentos.
Que a los niños hay que enseñarlos desde pequeños el; respeto, valores, las normas, para que no copien patrones de otros niños.
Otro dicho que decía " El que madruga Dios lo ayuda y recoge aguas claras. Ella todos los días se levantaba temprano a preparar el desayuno y ordenaba la casa. Después a limpiar las siembras.

My paternal grandmother was also very hard-working, she liked to plant flowers and vegetables, she always had different crops on her land. She liked to plant lilies, calla lilies, carnations, ferns, roses and geraniums in baskets. They were very pretty with so many flowery bushes; It was like being in paradise.
