I would also like to send a very special greeting to my dear friends from the United States who are part of this community, who have treated me very well and have taught me a lot to improve the quality of my publications and the reviews that I write about the magical world of coffee.

Today started off very well for me, as soon as I turned on the phone, in the morning I received a message from my friend Victoria, who is a very young girl who owns a small but cozy coffee shop near my house, where I like to have coffee in the afternoons when I can, enjoying also some delicious sweets made by herself which are very special because she usually makes them with homemade recipes or includes some test ingredient to make it different from a dessert that you can get anywhere else.

It happens that Victoria knows very well my taste for coffee, so she told me that she was preparing a new recipe and wanted me to try it to give her my opinion about the final taste of this cake, so she could make the decision about whether to start selling it in the cafeteria to the rest of the customers that she does not trust as much as me, That filled me with great joy because it is an honor that a pastry chef wants you to try his new recipes and give him an honest opinion, which I will certainly do to also share it with you and tell me what you think of the idea of this Chocolate and Coffee cake.

Unfortunately, I couldn't go in person to pick it up at the coffee shop because it was raining very hard, so Victoria sent it to my house with the motorized car. Now I will start my review by telling you that the delivery service was very fast, in only 5 minutes I had it in my hands, and the takeaway package is great, it is simple but practical and keeps the cake could very well.

The chocolate and coffee cake

It is a mini cake ideal for one person, maximum 2 people because it is small, measuring 10 centimeters in diameter by 7 centimeters high, according to what my friend told me, it is a customized variation by her of the traditional German recipe of a cake called black forest, only that the original one has cocoa liquor to moisten the pancake.

This cake replaces the syrups and liqueurs of the original recipe, which are basically all related to chocolate, with coffee products. This is how she manages to give the chocolate sponge cake a super special espresso aroma and the flavor has a delicious taste of freshly brewed coffee, which is achieved by mixing in the cake a liquid coffee base and a touch of coffee liqueur before mixing it with the chocolate.

The cake after having the pancake is assembled by layering it with whipped cream, chocolate syrup and some red cherries or cherries as they say in other places to decorate.

The taste is great, it reminded me of a chocolate coffee I tasted some time ago in an Italian coffee shop called Mocaccino. I highly recommend you to try this cake, it is very rich and has the perfect combination and just right not to be too sweet and cloying nor bitter so that someone does not like it, it is quite the opposite, it is great and very tasty.

I tell you that I really enjoyed eating this delicacy and to be able to tell you my experience knowing this new variety of cake that I had never tried, this afternoon my snack was a delicacy that came to my hands from the Gods of coffee, Ah I also gave a little bit to my pet alien that feeds on coffee, and he also liked it very much.

Not only can you drink coffee, but now you can also enjoy it in a delicious cake, that's great.
