TV, Formula, and ME

Success has finally arrived in my life, after so many years of learning and studying in the world of cooking I have finally managed to create a formula for a coffee-based cocktail that is emblematic, something that made me win the cooking contest on television where I participated achieving the first place, that not only brought me fame, it also brought me numerous offers companies to work with them creating drinks of all kinds, especially coffee drinks.

That award also helped me to progress thanks to the fact that at that time I met the host of that TV show with whom I fell in love, we dated for a while, and today we have a beautiful family, consisting of a beautiful daughter and a playful dog.

However, in this dream life not everything is good, this morning I received bitter news and that is that someone has stolen the formula of my invention, many of my knowledgeable friends of the medium realized that a known influencer of TikTok is using the formula that I somehow positioned in the market to make their advertising campaign and make money on the back of having stolen my invention.

Rage and indignation overwhelmed me from that moment, also sadness ravaged my heart to see how my fantastic world could be affected and destroyed in pieces little by little, so I decided to take revenge and put a stop to this aberration that this young man was doing using my image, my campaign, and my product.

To do so, I used the influences of my wife who for her years and trajectory as a recognized television presenter knows many producers and people of the medium, so I devised my revenge, which would be very simple, we created a unique program to talk about coffee drinks and that television section would be as guests the tiktoker and I, knowing of course, as a card up my sleeve that he would never know how to answer key questions, like why this ingredient or why that branch, or why that type of coffee was the necessary one to prepare this cocktail.

Finally, the day arrived, everything was planned, and we went to the TV station very early in the morning to go through the makeup, wardrobe, and preparation of scripts, we met the host of the program and the guy had not arrived yet, as a good influencer who has brief fame he was simply late, to appear on the program with an appropriate dress to his social network and playing outrageous music from his cell phone that impacted negatively on the entire audience present at the program and even the same producers and broadcasters of the television field.

I of course let the first one tell how he supposedly created the formula, and then I asked him very specific questions, I asked him why the cayenne flower was part of that cocktail and why especially the fine grain Arabica coffee from Colombia was the one used for the preparation of the magic cocktail that had positioned itself so well in the sales market.

Absolute silence in the program, then obviously he gave an elusive answer without any kind of argument and that was when I accused him of plagiarism in front of all the TV cameras in national broadcasting by showing that I had no way of explaining why those ingredients were part of the cocktail formula, and then I told where they came from.

It turns out that I grew up in a small coffee-producing hacienda where my grandmother taught me from a very young age in Latin America to know the coffee bean, know its properties, when it was too bitter or when it was too strong or too mild, and by mixing it with the cayenne flower I achieved that special touch in the right proportion to make the magic in the cocktail.

The boy was unveiled before the entire audience, before the whole public, and from that moment on he began to fail in his improvised career in the social networks, so I finally consolidated my revenge, I recovered the positioning of my formula and my product, today I feel very proud to have defended what is mine by right and of my ancestors, honoring the memory of my beloved grandmother, who taught me since I was a child how to love coffee.
