Borne out of inventor Harry Hoenselaars dream of a Bone-in, spiral Ham slicer; the first Honey Baked Ham was set up at Detroit in 1957. Today, the family owned chain retails pre-cooked Ham, entrées & several other goodies nationwide, especially during festive fervor.

Honeybaked Ham Turkey Dinner

This combo consisted of almost 3 pounds of smoked turkey and your choice of 3 sides.White meat slow cooked & smoked to tender perfection. It was a joy picking through the moderately salty, soft & melt-in-your-mouth flesh. The glazed on honey, maple, & grains of brown sugar imparted that extra sweet after-taste to the meat which tied in the sweet n salty factor.

Baked black eye peas in a tomoto-onion based sauce which was ZESTY on tasting .The gravy was thick with the beans being very soft & small cubes of their famous honey ham included.P.S.-I think it went well with the turkey.

Tuscan Style Broccoli

A dish that didn’t look very exciting but on tasting left me in an awe as to how it could be THIS delicious! The Parmesan, lemon & garlic elevated this dish to the forefront of the vast array we had. It was bursting with flavour soo much that it leaving us wanting more.

Maple Sweet Potato Soufflé


A sweet potato based dessert with hints of maple.The main uniqueness to this dish was the light airy texture.Sweet potato,maple & vanilla worked in a symphony all too well with the crunchy baked pecans on top which really tied things together.

Cinnamon Walnut Coffee Cake

A sour-cream based cake which included walnuts on top & covered around the sides with cinnamon .On having a slice it tasted like a sweet sugar cake with the nuts adding a crunch & cinnamon,that extra sweetness. The coffee flavour wasn’t very present at all, which was a bit of a bummer. But overall, a yummy dessert.
