Gatito de foami moldeable / Mouldable foam kitten (Esp/Eng)

¡Hola comunidad!
Aquí estoy de nuevo practicando formas y figuras un poco más complejas. Creo que iba bien hasta que le puse la nariz y los bigotes.
Me gustó la forma de este gatito y el color, más adelante al secar se puede usar como llavero o como adorno, la verdad es que este material es muy amigable y humilde.
Combiné dos colores para colita y orejitas, como pegué la nariz pensando quela forma triangular le iba bien ya no podía despegarla sin dañar la pieza, era mejor ponerle dos bolitas como siempre, ya sé para la próxima.

Here I am again, practising slightly more complex shapes and forms. I think it was going well until I added the nose and whiskers.
I liked the shape and colour of this little kitten; once it’s dry, it can be used as a key ring or a decoration. To be honest, this material is really easy to work with and unpretentious.
I combined two colours for the tail and ears. As I’d stuck the nose on thinking the triangular shape would suit it, I couldn’t peel it off without damaging the piece – it would have been better to use two little balls as usual. I’ll remember that for next time.

Definitivamente me faltan herramientas para moldear, hubiera sido más fácil...
Unto mis manos con crema corporal y tomo el foami blanco, lo divido en una parte pequeña para las patitas y un óvalo grande para el cuerpo del gatito al que luego hago la forma del cuello.
Luego tomo el foami color marrón y divido en tres piezas, una le hago la forma de la cola, que es un cilindro al que una de sus puntas lo hago mas delgado.

I’m definitely missing some modelling tools; it would have been easier...
I rub some body cream into my hands and take the white foam; I divide it into a small piece for the paws and a large oval for the kitten’s body, which I then shape into a neck.
Then I take the brown foam and divide it into three pieces; I shape one into the tail, which is a cylinder with one end made thinner.

Pego la colita en el lugar correspondiente. No sé si es así, pero mientras el foami está húmedo la forma la pierde rápidamente y si no tenemos cuidado en manipularlo también, cuando está húmedo podemos pegar otras piezas de foami sin usar pegamento.
Luego pego una de las bolitas en donde haré una de las orejas y otra en el cuerpo previamente aplastadas.

I stick the tail in the right place. I’m not sure if this is how it’s done, but whilst the foam is damp, it loses its shape quickly; and if we’re not careful when handling it, we can also stick other pieces of foam together without using glue whilst it’s damp.
Then I stick one of the balls where I’ll make one of the ears and another on the body, having flattened them beforehand.

Con ayuda de las herramientas de moldear, uso una que tiene punta redonda y presiono en los puntos para formar las orejas, luego moldeo las puntas con los dedos.
Uso maquillaje para pintar dentro de las orejas y los cachetes.
Los ojos son dos mostacillas, primero presiono para hacer las cuencas y luego aplico un punto de pegamento en cada una para pegarlas.
Con el pincel y pintura color negro realizo los bigotes y la boquita. Ahora dejo secar la pieza por al menos dos días.

Using the modelling tools, I take one with a rounded tip and press down on the points to shape the ears, then I shape the tips with my fingers.
I use make-up to paint the insides of the ears and the cheeks.
The eyes are two small beads; first I press down to create the sockets, then I apply a dot of glue to each one to stick them in place.
Using a brush and black paint, I paint the whiskers and the little mouth. Now I leave the piece to dry for at least two days.
