¡Hola amados! La letra de hoy es la "D" he dedicado mi dibujo a mi madre su nombre era Deolinda, a ella le encantaban mucho las flores, una de ellas era la cayena, las rosadas el encantaban porque no son muy comunes de ver.
El arte está hecho con marcadores de pintura acrílica, la punta es blanda, tipo pincel por lo que cuesta un poco la precisión.
Hoy no usé cinta de enmascarar dado a que ya tenía pensado remarcar los bordes. Aun sin haber usado la cinta de enmascarar el proceso fue igual de satisfactorio.

Hello, everyone! Today’s letter is ‘D’. I’ve dedicated my drawing to my mum – her name was Deolinda. She absolutely loved flowers, one of which was the cayenne; she particularly loved the pink ones because they’re not very common to see.
The artwork is done with acrylic paint markers; the tip is soft, like a brush, so it’s a bit tricky to be precise.
I didn’t use masking tape today as I’d already planned to go over the edges. Even without using masking tape, the process was just as satisfying.

Realizo el boceto sobre mi lienzo, luego hago el lineart con marcador negro, procuro las lineas no interfieran con la letra dejando descubierto.
Comienzo a rellenar de color las flores.

I sketch onto my canvas, then draw the line art with a black marker, taking care to ensure the lines do not interfere with the lettering, leaving it visible.
I begin to colour in the flowers.

No fue sencillo para mí hacer un sombreado y más con marcadores, es algo que debo ir aprendiendo.
La tinta de los marcadores suele cubrir el lineart por lo que debo remarcarlo nuevamente.
Relleno de color las hojas y aplico sombreado.
También aprovecho para darle color a la mariposa.

It wasn’t easy for me to add shading, especially with felt-tip pens; it’s something I need to keep practising.
The ink from the felt-tip pens tends to cover the line art, so I have to go over it again.
I colour in the leaves and add shading.
I also take the opportunity to colour in the butterfly.
