Saludos corazones llenos de amor...
"Los cantos del alma"... Así titulé mi post, tras varias semanas compartiendo con alguien músicas que normalmente dedicas a alguien que amas, ambos entramos en un estado de "me gustaría dedicarle esto a mi alma gemela" donde quiera que esté. Músicas que dicen cosas lindas, y así sin ningún otro afán mas que compartir "las cosas del alma" de una forma positiva, sin querer y sin haberme dado cuenta, estaba entrando en un proceso de sanación, al soltar ese amor reprimido que llevas por años y la resignación de que al parecer, el amor no llegó a tu puerta y llegó la vejez.
Mientras más compartíamos melodías cantadas por alguien que conocía nuestras emociones, alguien que vivió seguramente esas experiencias, nuestras almas tenían su propio lenguaje...
Llegué a la conclusión, las almas tienen un lenguaje universal y es el amor, solo pueden escucharse cuando estás en paz y en calma.
Con ustedes comparto, estas tres canciones a ver si ellas también pueden tocar sus almas y si están en soledad, puedan disfrutar de ella de una manera positiva y segura, confiados que sí existen más personas que nos acompañan en este estado y nos comprenden.

Greetings, hearts full of love...
"Songs of the soul"... That's what I titled my post, after several weeks of sharing music with someone that you normally dedicate to someone you love. We both entered a state of "I would like to dedicate this to my soul mate" wherever they may be. Songs that say beautiful things, and so, with no other desire than to share "things of the soul" in a positive way, without meaning to and without realising it, I was entering a healing process, letting go of that repressed love that you have carried for years and the resignation that, apparently, love did not come to your door and old age arrived.
The more we shared melodies sung by someone who knew our emotions, someone who had surely lived through those experiences, our souls had their own language...
I came to the conclusion that souls have a universal language, and that is love. They can only be heard when you are at peace and calm.
I share these three songs with you to see if they can also touch your souls and, if you are alone, help you enjoy it in a positive and safe way, confident that there are more people who accompany us in this state and understand us.
As psychiatrist Brian Weiss says: "Only love is real."

Entre las dedicadas el día de hoy, me dedicaron esta, era como escuchar un alma de verdad, llena de miedos, dudas, pidiendo que todo se mantenga intacto...
Escudriñando las letras de esta canción puedo ver lo mucho que cambiamos o intentamos que la otra persona cambie, es algo contradictorio, siempre le he dicho a las personas si te enamoraste de él o ella así como es ¿Por qué ahora que tienen una relación quieres cambiar cosas en ella? Puedo entender que las personas cambian con las circunstancias, a veces son factores externos o la salud que no tienen que ver con la pareja, pero... Una relación se construye, todo al rededor debe irse construyendo, no destruyendo y si va por este último camino, no puede ser amor.
Billy Joel nos muestra en esta canción que el amor es incondicional, donde nos anima a ser más auténticos en una relación y mantenernos fieles a nuestra personalidad.
Es terrible cuando alguien nos hace sentir "poco" sembrando el chip de "no eres suficiente" y cuando al fin esa relación se fractura y deja de ser, muchos quedamos con ese miedo al rechazo o al querer ser otra persona cuando estamos en otra relación, pues creemos que algo hicimos mal, hasta que por fin, logramos despertar y darnos cuenta que la única verdad fue el desamor de la otra persona.
La sanación tras esta canción fue reconocerse y valorarse, concientizarse: deben amarte tal cual eres y como eres, sin condicionarte.

Scrutinising the lyrics of this song, I can see how much we change or try to change the other person. It's somewhat contradictory. I've always told people, if you fell in love with him or her just as they are, why now that you're in a relationship do you want to change things about them? I can understand that people change with circumstances, sometimes due to external factors or health issues that have nothing to do with their partner, but... A relationship is built, everything around it must be built up, not destroyed, and if it goes down the latter path, it cannot be love.
Billy Joel shows us in this song that love is unconditional, encouraging us to be more authentic in a relationship and stay true to our personality.
It's terrible when someone makes us feel "insufficient" by planting the seed that "you're not good enough," and when that relationship finally breaks down and ends, many of us are left with that fear of rejection or of wanting to be someone else when we're in another relationship, because we believe we did something wrong, until finally, we wake up and realise that the only truth was the other person's lack of love.
The healing behind this song was recognising and valuing oneself, becoming aware: you must love yourself as you are, without conditions.

Sin Bandera - Entra En Mi Vida

Como parte de lo que denominé "terapia para el alma" mi respuesta fue esta canción. Casi a séis años de soledad llegué a pensar que me había vuelto una incapaz en volver a querer a alguien o que al menos mi corazón sintiera esos tipos de emociones. Sin embargo, nunca me juzgué diciéndome: "estoy vieja para esto" tampoco cerré mis puertas, simplemente no sucedía, tal vez el dolor acaparaba un espacio muy grande Luego de llora run rato y drenar, me di cuenta que ese espacio estaba vacío e inexistente, no era oscuro, no era lúgubre, la puerta esta abierta, solo que no cualquiera puede pasar. Entendí que estoy madurando emocionalmente y que invité a la persona que me acompañara a entrar y escuchar la melodía, que solo las almas se comuniquen entre sí, que digan lo que se tengan qué decir.
Día a día me di cuenta que construíamos un espacio seguro, del que - como dice las letras de esta canción - comencé por extrañar pero empecé a necesitarte luego... y analicé ¿Apego? No, por mucho que parezca que las letras de la canción habla de un apego intenso por alguien que prácticamente le suplica que entre en su vida, es un amor libre, sin cadenas, pues "la puerta siempre estará abierta" para salir y entrar a voluntad, pero siempre en paz y serenidad.
Durante este período de tiempo aprendes a priorizar tu salud emocional y mental, lo hermoso es encontrara a alguien que la comprenda y respete.
Disfrutar de un amor sano y que sana es lo mejor que nos puede pasar en las relaciones humanas.
"Entra en mi vida" pertenece al grupo "Sin bandera" de su álbum homónimo, es una balada en español, lanzada en el año 2001, sufrió del "ego" al tocar la fama y se separaron en 2008 con un intento de ser solistas, pero no tuvieron el mismo éxito y se frustraron, tengo entendido que en ahora volvieron a juntarse y ofrecen conciertos a nivel mundial de sus viejos éxitos.

As part of what I called 'therapy for the soul', my response was this song. After almost six years of loneliness, I came to believe that I had become incapable of loving someone again, or at least that my heart was incapable of feeling those kinds of emotions. However, I never judged myself by saying, "I'm too old for this," nor did I close my doors. It just didn't happen. Perhaps the pain took up too much space. After crying for a while and letting it all out, I realised that space was empty and non-existent. It wasn't dark, it wasn't gloomy. The door is open, but not just anyone can come in. During this period of time, you learn to prioritise your emotional and mental health, and the beautiful thing is to find someone who understands and respects that.
Enjoying a healthy and healing love is the best thing that can happen to us in human relationships.
"Entra en mi vida" belongs to the group "Sin bandera" from their album of the same name. It is a ballad in Spanish, released in 2001. Dejé esta pieza musical como broche de oro para cerrar, es la música cantada desde el alma, super romántica, el timbre de voz de Nat lo hace aun más especial, además que su sonrisa, su "angel" es muy encantador. Siempre la cantaba con una sonrisa, como invitándote a creer en el amor o que le evocaba momentos lindos junto a alguien.
Unforgettable, una power balad que llega al alma sin apuros, pasando por cada célula del cuerpo y eso da la sensación de sentir que vas sanando y confiando, creyendo una vez mas en ese hermoso sentimiento llamado amor, amor real, amor que edifica.
En 1951 se estrena esta hermosa canción que ha sido usada en tantas películas de amor, ademas muy versionada y cantada por otros artistas en diferentes épocas, pertenece a su álbum homónimo del cual, haciendo honor a su título, jamás podremos olvidar.

Nat King Cole... I even say it slowly and separately, each word of his name... Unforgettable is a musical gem. I feel this song is like poetry sung to love. The melody is so relaxing that it is impossible not to feel it, dance to it or sway to it.
I saved this piece of music as the grand finale to close with. It is music sung from the soul, super romantic, and Nat's voice makes it even more special, as does his smile. His "angel" is very charming. He always sang it with a smile, as if inviting you to believe in love or evoking beautiful moments with someone.
