¡Hola mi gente bonita! Aquí les traigo otra tarjetita bonita muy especial en tonos morado-lila para todos los que somos fans de ese hermoso color tan poderoso y transmutador.

Hay manualidades con las que me quedo pegada un rato con ellas, estoy disfrutando un mundo explorar y explotar mi creatividad con ellas.
Hoy ideé un nuevo diseño, después de ver varios tutoriales y dominar los elementos, ya comienzas a crear tus propios doblez divertidos y creativos. Hoy te presento este modelito y te enseño hacerlo paso a pasito, también te grabé un videíto, me siento feliz de haber podido hacerlo así que te invito a verlo.

Hello, my lovely people! Here’s another lovely, very special little card in shades of purple and lilac for all of us who are fans of that beautiful, powerful and transformative colour.
I love it!
There are some crafts that I just can’t put down for a while; I’m having a brilliant time exploring and letting my creativity run wild with them.
Today I came up with a new design; once you’ve watched a few tutorials and got the hang of the basics, you start creating your own fun and creative folds. Today I’m showing you this little design and teaching you how to make it step by step; I’ve also recorded a little video. I’m so happy I managed to make it, so I’d love for you to have a look.

Cortamos 11 centímetros de la cartulina tamaño carta por su lado más largo, Pliega una parte de 15 centímetros y mide 15 centímetros más corta el sobrante.
Repite el paso anterior pero el ancho es de 8 centímetros. Pega esa pieza dentro de la otra de color morado.

Cut 11 centimetres off the letter-sized card along its longest side. Fold a 15-centimetre section and trim the remaining piece to 15 centimetres shorter.
Repeat the previous step, but this time the width is 8 centimetres. Stick that piece inside the purple one.

Dobla hacia afuera dejando un espacio por los bordes, cuando llegues al otro borde, vuelve a doblar una pequeña pestaña hacia afuera.
Toma la pieza central, este es un sticker, lo pegué sobre una cartulina blanca, luego lo recorté pues necesitaba que fuera resistente y tuviera borde blanco.
En la parte interna pega el primer fondo, ahora puedes notar el por qué hice que la pieza central tuviera borde blanco, ahora resalta más.

Fold it outwards, leaving a gap around the edges; when you reach the other edge, fold a small flap outwards again.
Take the centre piece – this is a sticker. I stuck it onto a piece of white card, then cut it out as I needed it to be sturdy and have a white border.
Stick the first background onto the inside; now you can see why I gave the centrepiece a white border – it really makes it stand out more.

Dobla las alas de una mariposa, coloca un trozo de cinta doble faz detrás y luego pega en la tarjeta.
Rellena con cartulinas o papel decorado, la parte interna trasera de la tarjeta, luego recorta siguiendo la forma de la pieza central (muñeca), decora a tu gusto, a mí me gusta decorar con palabras en dos idiomas y con mensajes positivos.

Fold the wings of a butterfly, place a piece of double-sided tape behind them, and then stick it onto the card.
Fill the inside back of the card with cardstock or decorative paper, then cut it out following the shape of the centrepiece (the doll), and decorate it however you like. I like to decorate it with words in two languages and positive messages.

La parte delantera, la decoré con marcadores y formas de corazones. Luego pega más mensajes positivos en espacios vacíos.
La cartulina decorada que pegué en el centro fue una de mis favoritas, sus colores son muy hermosos.

I decorated the front with markers and heart shapes. Then I stuck some more positive messages into the empty spaces.
The decorated card I stuck in the centre was one of my favourites; the colours are really lovely.
I then added a frame and a butterfly on top of the frame, on which I’ll write a message on a piece of white card and then stick it in the centre.
Every fold of the card should have a background; make sure you decorate them all.

La decoración la ajustas a los materiales que tengas y la ocasión, puedes usar desde cartulinas decoradas, papel decorado, papel de regalo, impresiones, generalmente yo uso cosas que he reciclado de otros proyectos donde me han quedado materiales.
Estas tarjetas para nada se ven baratas, tampoco creo que lo sean, si tuviera que comprar los materiales, los stickers y las decoraciones si saldría costoso. Lo bueno es que puedes ajustar su tamaño y así usas menos materiales.
No importa si se ve sobrecargada, creo que es lo que lo hace más divertida, sin embargo esta tiene un toque sutil, romántico y elegante que me gustó mucho.

You can adapt the decoration to whatever materials you have to hand and to the occasion; you can use anything from decorated card, patterned paper, wrapping paper or printouts. I usually use things I’ve recycled from other projects where I’ve had leftover materials.
These cards don’t look cheap at all, nor do I think they are; if I had to buy the materials, stickers and decorations, it would certainly be expensive. The good thing is that you can adjust the size, so you use fewer materials.
It doesn’t matter if it looks a bit over the top – I think that’s what makes it more fun. However, this one has a subtle, romantic and elegant touch that I really liked.
