Greetings dear ones, here I am again sharing with you, it fills me with happiness.
I hope you are very well, I tell you that my previous design tablet I could not use it anymore due to wear of the pencil tip and that I could not get a replacement, if they sell them but in my country they do not arrive, I was stretching the situation by buying another more advanced but I could not because I have things to attend in priority, however, my last drawings were increasingly sloppy in their lines, it cost me a lot to draw and reached the point that the pencil tip came off by itself, risk of scratching the tablet.
I had no choice but to buy the same model Huion 420, which you know is for digital signatures, but I use it for drawing and it works well so far. They are inexpensive really, a cost of $50. Now I can go back to drawing.
I tried to make two designs but it was very bad to adapt, I was used to the wear and tear, I had to graduate it again, for comfort reasons what I did was to take one of the tips of the new tablet and change the one that was worn out. Those designs turned out so awful that I will not publish them hahaha. The future of my new tablet I will give it to my youngest son since he loves to draw, I'm sure he will be very happy when I give it to him as a gift.

Espero se encuentren muy bien, les cuento que mi tableta de diseño anterior no pude usarla más debido al desgaste de la punta del lápiz y que no conseguía repuesto, si los venden pero en mi país no llegan, estuve alargando la situación por comprar otra mas avanzada pero no pude pues tengo cosas que atender en prioridad, sin embargo, mis últimos dibujos estaban cada vez más desprolijos en sus líneas, me costaba mucho dibujar y llegó al momento que la punta del lápiz se salía sola, riesgo de rayar la tableta.
No tuve más remedio que comprarme el mismo modelo Huion 420 que ya saben que es para hacer firmas digitales, pero la uso para dibujar y me va bien hasta ahora. Son económicas realmente, un costo de 50$. Ya puedo volver a dibujar.
Intenté hacer dos diseños pero me fue muy mal adaptarme, me había acostumbrado al desgaste, hay que volver a graduarla, por cuestiones de comodidad lo que hice fue tomar una de las puntas de la tableta nueva y cambiar la que estaba desgastada. Quedaron tan horrendos esos diseños que no pienso publicarlos ¡Jajaja!. El futuro de mi nueva tableta lo cederé a mi hijo menor ya que él adora dibujar, seguro estará muy feliz cuando se la obsequie.

Let's get to know a little more about the artist Julia (@julii.draws) who launched this DTIYS challenge to celebrate her well deserved 20K followers, people who support her work and seeing her projects I became one more follower.
I love her color palette, she uses earthy colors, a bit complicated for me, but they are soothing. Her designs are beautiful and her style is very well marked and very adorable, I invite you to follow her, I'm sure you will like to see her projects.
The important thing in this is the constancy, the desire you have every day to learn and improve yourself, in my case I consider it has been a little slow to learn the strokes well, but I have been polishing myself more in terms of my style and posture, given view to my old drawings was very common disproportions, also had very bad use of the color palette, this is because given my color blindness but I looked for ways to improve and here I am, I work with more harmonious palettes for your eyes.
My design reminded me of an old classmate from childhood, I admired her strength and simplicity, despite all the difficulties she always has that smile on her face, a great charisma and a lot of willpower, Evelyn is a proof of strength and entrepreneurship, I remember her long hair and her typical headband, inside the classroom she would gather her hair in a bun and then she would let it down.
I remember her fondly as I remember all my classmates.

Tras mis intentos fallidos con dos diseños anteriores, busqué entrar en uno de los retos de dibujo y encontré este lindo personaje. Conozcamos un poco más a la artista Julia (@julii.draws) quien lazó este reto de DTIYS para celebrar sus merecidos 20K de seguidores, personas que apoyan su trabajo y al ver sus proyectos me convertí en una seguidora más.
Me encanta su paleta de colores, usa colores tierra, un poco complicados para mí, pero son relajantes. Sus diseños son hermosos propios de personajes de cuentos y tiene su estilo muy bien marcado y muy adorable, los invito a seguirla, seguro les gustará ver sus proyectos.
Lo importante en esto es la constancia, las ganas que tengas cada día de aprender y superarte, en mi caso considero ha sido un poco lento aprender bien los trazos, pero he ido puliéndome más en cuanto a mi estilo y postura, dado vista a mis dibujos antiguos era muy común las desproporciones, también tenía muy mal uso de la paleta de colores, esto es pues dado a mi daltonismo pero busqué formas para mejorar y heme aquí, trabajo con paletas más armónicas para sus ojos.
Mi diseño me recordó a una vieja compañera de estudio de la infancia, admiraba su fortaleza y sencillez, pese a todas las dificultades que se le presentan siempre tiene esa sonrisa en el rostro, un gran carisma y mucha fuerza de voluntad, Evelyn es una prueba de fortaleza y emprendimiento, recuerdo sus largos cabellos y su típico cintillo en la cabeza, dentro del salón de clase recogía su cabello con una moña y luego se lo soltaba.
La recuerdo con cariño como a todos mis compañeros.

I needed to practice more looseness in the hair, I took advantage of this design to achieve it, in the sketch I let myself be carried away by the softness of the new tip of the digital pencil, I made very relaxed strokes, apparently, the more relaxed you have your hands, the more looseness you will have when drawing. I don't like it when my designs look too stiff, I like it when the lines have their freehand looseness. The stroke is marked by the pressure you exert between the pencil and the design tablet, which makes thick and thin lines at specific points filling the design with movement.
Another thing I learned and love to do is to work without lineart or with a very discreet lineart, the drawings are really beautiful.
This time I made a lineart with a very rustic brush to achieve a charcoal paint or wax crayon paint look, I love that effect.
The base color then consists of painting over the lineart, each color separately in their respective folders.
Necesitaba practicar más soltura en el cabello, aproveché este diseño para lograrlo, en el boceto me dejé llevar por la suavidad de la nueva punta del lápiz digital hice trazos muy relajados, al parecer, mientras más relajada tengas tus manos, más soltura tendrás al dibujar. No me gusta cuando mis diseños se ven muy rígidos, me gusta cuando las líneas tienen su soltura a mano alzada. El trazo es marcado por la presión que ejerces entre el lápiz y la tableta de diseño, lo cual hace líneas gruesas y delgadas en puntos específicos llenando de movimiento el diseño.
Otra cosa que aprendí y amo hacer es trabajar sin lineart o con un lineart muy discreto, realmente los dibujos quedan bellos.
En esta ocasión realicé un lineart con un pincel muy rústico para lograr apariencia de pintura con carbón o pintura con creyones de cera, me encanta ese efecto.
El color base entonces consta de pintar sobre el lineart, cada color por separado en sus respectivas carpetas.
I had no idea how to achieve the butterflies, I thought of doing them as usual, but when I drew one, they didn't match the design so I drew one in a very relaxed way, nothing difficult, hoping that the shading would give it the rest of life.
And so it was, I drew one and then I reproduced it several times modifying its size and position, then I applied the shading to each one, with crayon effects and they were great.
Then I worked with the hair, I didn't hesitate to do it as usual, I knew it would look great, to finish I added the little flowers on the hair.
No tenía idea de cómo lograr las mariposas, pensé hacerlas como de costumbre, pero al dibujar una, no combinaban con el diseño por lo cual dibujé una de forma muy relajada, nada difícil esperando que el sombreado le diera el resto de vida.
Y así fue, dibujé una y luego la reproduje varias veces modificando su tamaño y posición, luego apliqué el sombreado a cada una, con efectos crayola y quedaron geniales.
Seguidamente trabajé con el cabello, no dudé en hacerlo como de costumbre, sabía que luciría genial, para finalizar agregué las florecitas sobre el cabello.
Definitely the layered skin shading enhances the character, it doesn't look flat and marks that chibi style that I used to see in old drawings.
To finish the design I must say that I feel satisfied with the improvement in the shape and practice of the kawaii eyes, the simpler they are, the prettier they look.

Definitivamente el sombreado de piel por capas le da realce al personaje, no se ve plano y marca ese estilo chibi que veía en antiguos dibujos.
Para finalizar el diseño debo decir que me siento satisfecha por la mejoría en la forma y práctica de los ojos kawaii, mientras más sencillos son, mas lindos quedan.

Awww que hermosa Evelyn y que buen detalle de tu estupendo trabajo, mi bella amiga. Me encanta que hayas podido solucionar lo de tu tablet y ahora puedas trabajar con más fluidez y comodidad. Todo cambio cuesta algo pero luego , al encaminarnos, se pueden lograr cosas tan hermosas como tus dibujos.
