Autumn On Photos

After the summer drought, we're having rain now every day and it's getting too much already. Tomatoes in the garden are getting black because of too much water and I'm afraid leafs will have the same faith. This is why I'm trying to capture what I can.

Autumn On Photos 1.jpg

After getting a nice amount of advice from experimented and professional photographers, today I went out to take care of some business I had and also to capture some of autumn's beauty. It's that time of the year, when you have the opportunity to see and capture some of the most beautiful scenes, but you need to be at the right place the right time as nothing last forever.

I thought let's put to good use the amount of advice I got yesterday, so I shot some buildings too, but I'm not going to upload those today as I need more first. Today's post is going to be about nature only. Mother nature deserves separate posts and as many as possible this time of the year as she's creating her nicest artworks.

My first target was the alley, which is gorgeous this time of the year. These old trees are spectacular, when you shoot them against the blue sky, not to mention, when you have more than green. Yellow for example.

20221004_112712(0)a.jpg

When I looked at these branches, started to smile as this is 100 times easier than buildings.

20221004_112724a.jpg

It doesn't matter if these trees are leaning right, or left, the photo is still cool and interesting.

20221004_112727a.jpg

Looks at those branches, growing in every direction. There's not a single straight line on the photo, so you can't go wrong with it, mo matter where you stand or how you keep the camera in your hand.

20221004_112731a.jpg

20221004_112735a.jpg

Does this photo look off to you? Not to me.

20221004_112758a.jpg

20221004_111647a.jpg

Most of the leaves are changing color, this one was too.

20221004_112323a.jpg

Then I saw this scene and could not leave, without taking a few photos.

20221004_112358a.jpg

The truth is, you can find ivy everywhere and most are beautiful, but the background sometimes can ruin everything. This time I was lucky as the paint on the wall is not too old and it's gray, which makes it perfect for the job. A neutral color is always better.

20221004_112411a.jpg

20221004_112418a.jpg

Looking at the fence, I suspected the ivy was more beautiful on the other side, but that was private property and I respect that.

20221004_113815a.jpg

Then I found this beauty, the horse chestnut. I've been hoping to find one still in the pod, but it's not an easy task. Usually the pod cracks first, while till on the tree, then the chestnut fells on the ground, then the pod.

20221004_113817a.jpg

20221004_113856a.jpg

20221004_113919a1.jpg

And there's the chestnut, still wet from so much rain.

So this is part of the capture today.

looking good @erikah love the chestnut colours, reminds me of how we used to make animals of those with match sticks or Toothpicks.

We used to make chestnut man out of it, but you can make animals, cars, whatever you want.

I thought it was only my area that had rain, it turns out that it's raining where you are too. Keep your plants, it's very important for daily needs

@erikah Autumn is a very beautiful time of the year. Despite the fact that at this time it rains more often. I always admire her too. Nice pictures.

It's that time of year, when you have the opportunity to see and capture some of the most beautiful scenes, but you need to be in the right place at the right time as nothing lasts forever.

So it is Erika, neither the ivy, nor the tomatoes nor the horse chestnut for now, they will sleep the sleep of winter like the bear keeping their synchrony of colors, and natural beauty in the same blue sky, and you will be there to continue capturing the awakening of this life and share with us in the hive.

I live in the tropics, but I know that autumn as it happens changes my energy, my mood between reds and yellows, a product of the seasonal affective process (I only perceive through photos that capture that magic in our great blue planet.

Thank you for sharing your artist's point of view through photography @erikah ☮️

I can't imagine how the weather is in the tropics and honestly I preferred this weather as I know what I'm losing. Autumn is indeed very beautiful.

I have lived short times with the 4 seasons in the USA, but where I live is tropical, it is heat, wind, sun, sea, beach, rivers, the climate in some parts is dry, in others humid due to evaporation and in others the temperatures are very cold in the Andean Cordillera (below zero) all year round.

There are a lot of green areas, forests, jungle, really here we have the highest waterfall in the world, one of the wonders of the world as the Angel Falls.

I think that this planet is wonderful our home and where we are we must take advantage of the resources to live, just enjoy the gift of life.

I appreciate your comment @erikah ☮️

We don't experience autumn here in the Philippines but for sure it's one thing that many people here in my country would want to experience. Leaves changed color and as time goes by, they fell off the tree making a carpet of colorful leaves.

Then you don't have winter either. Wait till I post snow photos 😃

In any case, if you have a possibility to travel to a country where they have four seasons, choose autumn and, or winter.

The colors are so beautiful and the leaves look amazing! You captures the autumn feeling perfectly.
Now I'm getting jealous 🫣. On the way to my house, the leafs of the trees have turned red. I thought of taking a photo many times, but because of a hurry, I have not yet got a chance. But after seeing your photography I will make time to go there.

Thank you! You need to make time till it's not too late as autumn won't last forever. Once cold settles in, all the leaves are going to end up on the ground.

Beautifull. The horse chestnut looks some kind of evil character from a horror show. 😂

The trees that you posted about, do these tree produce any sort of fruit as well?

No, those are just trees, I mean they have seeds but not flowers like others.

That is one of the reason why I love to go out for walk in autumn, the trees with different colours of leaves. Later in autumn when the ground is completely covered with leaves I love to walk and kick the piles of leaves, it gives a feeling like one would be walking stepping in puddles.

Actually it is one of the beautiful seasons and the time that photogrpahers love too.

If you're lucky to find a place, where the leaves are not cleaned up. Streets usually are cleaned frequently, so no chance there :)

Yes, it is beautiful and I suppose you don't have it in Spain.

Well, not in that percentage, that is for sure. I saw one shrub and these red leaves, but we have mainly palm trees and conifers, and they don't give me any autumn feeling...

Looking at the photos you can see that the weather is good.

I loved the leaves in a tone between green and brown

I love the leaves too :)

This is in stark contrast to the seasons in my area, currently we have summer, and almost all the plants are so dry and even die from lack of water.
But after all, when autumn comes, the beauty of nature will be easy to see, as you are taking this picture.

I think autumn is beautiful everywhere, if you have 4 seasons. Drought has done a lot of damage during summer, but now we have plenty of rain.
