Crazy Art - In A Good Way

(Edited)

Today I'm going to show you some crazy artworks from the creative art camp I talked about here. Buckle up as you're going to see a lot of interesting works you have never seen :)

20240122_095855a.jpg

István Makkai - Protected Stone, Do Not Carve!

This was quite an interesting one. A marble cube shaped stone, with metal protection on the corners, with a note that says protected stone, do not carve. Carving these stones is usually what artists do, that's how a sculpture is born, but this is the exact opposite. The artwork is the raw material itself. It's an interesting idea though.

20240122_095933a.jpg

Ionel Mihai - My Story

I'm going to leave this to you, to tell me what you think about this artwork. For those who don't know what they are seeing, it's an empty notebook, with ... I'm not sure what it is. Seems to be the root of a tree, but judging from the texture, could be vine too. I tend to believe it's the latter. So please, feel free to share your thoughts. Don't be shy :)

20240122_095954a.jpg

Gábor Hunor Veres - Like/Unlike

This was another interesting one and in 2024, I can understand it perfectly. Some people play this game from morning till evening. Distribute likes, because that's what is expected from them, that's the norm these days and if you don't follow the herd, you're considered a weirdo.

20240122_100337a.jpg

The stamp you see was on the floor and as quite big.

20240122_100034a.jpg

20240122_100048a.jpg

20240122_100053a.jpg

Lucza Zsigmond - Floragrams

Here's another riddle for you. Tell me how it was made. I tried to figure it out and took two close-up photo as well, to be able to show you a detailed part. My best guess is that it is printed on canvas, but I may be wrong.

20240122_100124a.jpg

Orsolya Bighirel - Back To The Origin

20240122_100144a.jpg

Each exhibition contains a lot of mysteries, even when the title is given. A title alone does not mean you understand what you're seeing or what the artist meant. It puts your brain to work and maybe that's the beauty of it. It makes you have a closer look, think, twist your mind, think again and so on.

You may think I have lost my mind for posting a photo of the top of a chair, but look again. Maybe you see what this means.

Let's go back to the artwork you see above. I mean the chair and the 4 print above it. What do you see? There are 4 prints, 4 stages of the artwork, till it got to the final stage. Each time an extra layer of paint was added to it.

The title says Back To The Origin. The question is, how are you looking at it? Starting from the chair? Or start at the top of the wall?

20240122_100219a.jpg

Apor Ferencz - Gold Mask

This was a big and fantastic photo. Unfortunately I couldn't get a better shot, because there was no space to get closer and in front of it. Regardless, you see the meaning. It's a shot of a welding workshop, with the gold mask highlighted.

20240122_100242a.jpg

Melinda Dobribán - Station - In Memory Of R.G.

This thing was actually filled with water and it gave me the heart attack, when I noticed it. good thing I didn't knock it down, in my attempt of taking a better photo of the welder workshop.

20240122_100303a.jpg

Borgó - Pseudosphere

After all the previous styles, this was a surprise.

20240122_100315a.jpg

20240122_100403a.jpg

Filip Gajewsky - Many Faces

I think this pile of wood can be the definition of strange at this exhibition 😆

20240122_100436a.jpg

20240122_100456a.jpg

20240122_100459a.jpg

Arkadiusz Ignaszak - And So On

This is kind of how I envision life. You try to build your life, placing a ring each your on top of the previous one, but life is not a straight forward thing. Some years are good, others are bad and others are even worse. This is how we are trying to keep the balance. Sometimes you succeed, sometimes you don't and there are times when you have to start over and put together all the pieces that have fallen apart. There are years when you don't build anything, maybe stake a ring back, or the ring you put on the top of the previous one is slim, or broken. That's life.

I'm not sure if the artist meant the same thing, but regardless, I love this one!

20240122_100515a.jpg

János Szirtes - Creek

I though after all these years I've seen it all, but to be brutally honest, I've never expected to see water samples at an exhibition 😁

20240122_100556a.jpg

Livia Moldovan - The Voice Of Time

20240122_100626a.jpg

Roxana Daniela Ader - Family At The Beach

20240122_100636a.jpg

Gábor Székely - Game Table

This was a pretty low table, most likely for kinds, the kind you see at daycare or kindergarten.

20240122_100716a.jpg

20240122_100725a.jpg

Annabella Orosz - Pillar Head

No, this is not the X, ex Twitter logo.

So this is it people. I hope you have a favorite as there are many interesting pieces here. Let me know in a comment :)

Wooooooo! This is indeed a crazy artwork, each day you are bringing exhibitions I haven't seen before. Most of the artwork are even hard for me to comprehend and most of them can only be interpreted by the artist. I totally agree with you on that wood that are piled up, earnestly I also picture life as I was looking at it. As the wood is not straight, so is life.

I don't think you've been to my country, so everything I post will be new to you.

Most of the artwork are even hard for me to comprehend and most of them can only be interpreted by the artist.

I don't think so. Even if you don't interpret it as the artist, it's still an interpretation.

In my opinion, the root is a thought and the blank paper is a pressure that comes from outside and squeezes the thought. Maybe the artist is getting the idea to create a work of art based on the thoughts of people who are under a lot of pressure from outside. it's like me hahaha

I haven't thought about that, but it's definitely an interesting explanation.

The interesting thing about concept art is that it has as many interpretations as there are eyes looking at it.

The chair artwork I interpreted in 2 ways, from the chair it would be as if the author went back in time and exposed the texture of the wood that was used in its construction.

If we look at it from the top down it is as if through the traces we could reach the object that originated it. That's what I see...it would be nice to know what the artist's intention was. 🤭.

The tower of pieces of wood logs is great, I also loved it.

Thanks Erikah, what an interesting showcase you brought today.

You're right about that and I can tell you, I get a lot of comments and most of them are different, which just proves what you say.

Interesting exhibit. Seems to be focused on materials, pre-cursors, what things are made of or maybe how they are made. I start at the chair and work back to the unfinished wood. I really like "And So On". "Like Unlike" is so big I picture stamping people on the forehead lol

Lol, that stamp is as big as your head, so you can't stamp just their forehead 😀

Hello @erikah very interesting this exhibition. I think that the second work the artist is representing the source material as it is in nature and the product of its transformation by man which is paper. In Back to the origin I see it from the chair, I think it shows me at the end the less worked, more original version. The Game Table also shows us rocks and wood, which is the origin of things. I really enjoyed this exhibition you are showing us. Best regards 🤗🤗

It's a very interesting exhibit, to be sure! That said, I don't pretend to be much of an expert on Modern Art, but sometimes I just don't get it.

But I suppose that art is in the eye of the beholder and everybody sees their own thing in something.

You're right about that, art is in the eye of the beholder and everyone sees something different, most likely.

Forgive me Ms. Erika, at first I was just scrolling through the photos not reading yet for I want my mind to digest, wander, comprehend what could be the representation of each art work because they are all a bit mind boggling to me and a lot of them just looks kinda funny...Haha
Good thing I wasn't there in person or else I could be really farting from laughing.... Some of the objects looks like the artist got bored and just wants to test the point of view of the visitors where in fact they were just you know playing.🤔🤔🤭🤭😁
That twig with the empty pages of bond papers and the last part the wood planks that looks like it came from an old shed just blew me away!!! I want to take them home and make fire wood out of them.

My husband is asking me now what is wrong with me for I kept giggling...🤭🤭😁
Pardon me, I know this is a concept art. If I would be serious in examining these art I probably would have a headache.toink!

Thanks for sharing these to us, made my day really!😍😍😆

Wow!! I'm having a hard time trying to comprehend most of these arts. I think on the second artwork the root or whatever that is represents our thoughts and feelings. We try very hard to hide our thoughts and feelings to not feel like an open book but in reality you really can't contain it inside and it shows. I don't know, I'm pretty sure I'm wrong on this HAHAHAHA.

That's an interesting theory, I've never thought of that. Thanks though.

WOW 😍 AMAZING!

The artwork in this post is insane, and I can't decide on any favorite as they are all unique in their own way.
I love photography so that close up on that floragrams canvas is amazing. But the many wood art is incredleble as well.
I would be stuck in that place for a looong time looking at all that.
A lot of the art can start your imagination and fun would be to meet the artist and find out how wrong you were in your head 😂 Hahahaha

Loooved it alot and Thank you for sharing. Have a wonderful sunday and much love 🤗💕🤗

I feel you! Sometimes I do the same and it feels good.

That is an interesting thought, but you know how it happens. First there's the opening, where the artist shares their thoughts, but that is before you see the artworks. Which means you already know their thoughts and that influences you. The fun part would be if there would be a closing as well, and only attend that, to see if you got things right 😜

Thanks for the nice comment and wishing you a lovely evening 🤗

Hey What's up? It seems abit ironic the first one. I feel the need of Carving on it. xD About " Game Table" at first sight I read Gem Table and I got excited because I am a gem lover. What are exacly those stones? "Family At The Beach" shocked me a bit, In Latin America is not usual to find this kind of situation. At least on the beach I've been to.However, I loved it. Orsolya Bighirel - Back To The Origin, excuse me. Where is he origen at? take me there, I want to start all over again! good one!

János Szirtes - Creek yeah, I've never seem something like this before. his in an exposition as well. But what I am sure that water from Valencia taste so so different from Barinas.

Ionel Mihai - My Story. Responding your question I'd say of course to write the story of our life. BTW, very soon I will publish a Story about Luna on Hive. That is a story for no sensitive hearts.

Those are so far the one I loved the most. Thank you for sharing with us. Where is this museum located at?

Greetings from Venezuela.

Love, Huntie

I think bringing the inverse in the exhibition, of what is expected is a good idea. I like it.

I don't know if those were precious stones, i don't think so. I think the focus was on the setup.

Greetings to you too and have a nice evening.

Now this is an interesting thought and trust me, I envy you for that as I could not think of much. It's very original vision too. Thanks Nitsu 😃

The wood branch and the paper surrounding it is my favorite. that first shot reminds me of a model shoot, or an indian bollywood song, where the sensuous heroine is in a classic pose surrounded by background of diaphanous fabrics both protecting her and always at a verge of being blown away.

At the same time when reading the other comments it struck me that for that paper to be available that three has to die. so is the paper slowly throttling the life out of the branch.

I wonder.

All great pics, and good art.
Thanks.

This is very true and I haven't thought about it. Interesting thought.
