Mixing Photos Again

This is the time of the year to remember those nice and warm days when everything was nice and green, there were flowers everywhere.

Mixing Photos Again.jpg

Those days are gone, it looks like autumn is ending or have ended already and winter is knocking on the door.

I took these photos in June and never posted them as there were so many photos available that there was no time for these. A photo never goes to waste as you can use it later at any time.

Now that I'm looking at them I see I captured some intruders as well, some bugs or spiders that did not see on the scene. It's not a surprise I did not see these little creatures of nature as when the sun is strong, there's little you can see on the screen of your phone.

This is the rose hip, but I'm not sure if it's the edible one. I found it in a park and loved that pink petal.

This photo was taken in September and the plant you see on the photo is ivy, which is an evergreen, so it can resist to cold winters as well. It's one of my favorites exactly for the above mentioned reason.

20220905_103842a.jpg

This photo is going to shock you as has nothing to do with the previously uploaded ones. It's a rust photo, that has its own beauty, but only if you like this category. Years ago I used to run a challenge called 7 Days Outside and one of the days the topic was rust. I love rust as it has its own beauty, but for me it's difficult to find rust in the city. Gates may be rusty, but with the latest security measures and cameras all over the place, photographing gates is not the smartest thing to do. However, I'm always looking for some good rust and I'm sure I will find some eventually.

What was funny here was the lock being on a door that can barely hold. It was so old and deteriorated that placing a padlock on it was like a joke.

20221004_112005(0)a.jpg

Next there's another funny photo, which was taken at the beginning of October. These new stems and leaves usually are growing during spring, maybe summer, but never during autumn. Growing now may have been due to the warmer weather, which usually is confusing nature. We've seen trees blossoming late autumn then freeze due to the sudden frost and cold. With the climate change, this is going to happen more.

What many don't know is that those fresh or new stems are never going to be strong enough to survive a cold winter and that's going to be the end of those. These branches need time to get stronger, to grow an outer layer that protects them from the cold.

These two beauties were left last intentionally. Photos are a courtesy of my dad, who spotted them at another pasture. They are moved from time to time because they graze the grass and need a new pasture.

20221109_131725a.jpg

Look at this beauty! How can you not love her? This year is gone already, but I hope to meet her next year. She's pretty friendly, unlike the black beauty.

This photo is from earlier, my dad forgot to send it to me with the others, when they were in our garden. They seem to get along pretty well, don't you think?

Sooooo, which one is your favorite today? 😏

I can totally relate - I have 1000's of pictures and could make many posts out of them if only I had time for all of it ;)

Those little creatures on your roses look like aphids to me. They can be back or green. Usually come at the beginning of summer, mulitply like crazy then their predators wake up to eat them all. Then they're back towards the end of the season again.

Love the ponies your dad captured. Not so much the ivy - I removed it from allover my house and fence when I moved in, but I let it in one place where it keeps the fence from falling over :D

No worries, we're going to find time to post them eventually. I don't know where you live, but winter is not a good season for photographing here, so that's usually when I'm taking out all photos and post them.

I know those little green or black creatures, but white is unusual, however, it may just be my ignorance.

By the way, these are not ponies, these are normal horse, maybe shorter than what you are used to, but not ponies :)

I’m in Europe. It depends on a year. When it snows and I’m off work for whatever reason, I’m outside daily to capture it. Most years however the weather is not very inviting to go outside. Like this week 🙈

Ponies are like a gentler way to say horses 😉 I saw ponies once in the forest. Can’t remember if I captured them, but I hope I did 😁

My favorite is the last one. I love horses. I mean I love horses when I'm not riding them 😂😂.

And that rusty lock looks pretty cool too.

I'm glad that you have some favorites here. The rusty luck was a question mark as not everyone likes this kind of art.

Hmm, interesting images once again and the fact that they all have a story was one thing that I loved about looking at them. I do love flowers and I think all of them here are beautiful but you see that image of a rusted padlock, it got me really and the story was more fun and funny to read, hehe.

The brown horse, she's indeed a beauty, so sad I'm yet to hop on one, I'm not really in a haste to do that though, hehe.

It's a good thing you have so many images to remind you of the beauty of autumn and summer. Keeping images is a really great thing.

Usually every image has a story and sometimes, while taking the photos, I'm thinking of what I'm going to write.

The padlock breaks the beauty line, if I can say that, but that's a different kind of beauty.

And yes, images are here to remind us of the past.

You're absolutely right, every image does have his own unique story and I still think of what to say about every image I capture and sometimes it's not really easy, hehe.

Yeah, the padlock has a unique beauty and not everyone will see that, all they see is the rust.

And that is why I love taking pictures of things, just to keep memories of them.

I think I am going to select two photographs in this first opportunity, number one is undoubtedly the one that reflects the ivy, simply, the way it is woven around the trunk of the tree is very attractive and visually captivating. The second one, is the one that may be strange, that strangeness turns out to be beautiful, because it transports you to a different place, it is true that it may not coincide with the previous ones, but it feels very synergistic in the publication.

Yes, the ivy is indeed like that. Imagine when it covers everything.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by and I'm glad you like them.

All the photos are wonderful, Erika, but I loved the ones of the equine love, what movement, colors, and joy is perceived in that paddock with those two natural beauties, it is definitive, they are my favorites... thank.

They seem to be everyone's favorite, which is understandable. Who can resist the cuteness? :)

when you see rust you also see the time that has passed... that's the beauty on it!

I don't have horses, these horses belong to a neighbor of my dad. I'm based in Romania.

I like the rust picture, but at the same time it makes my skin tingle in discomfort. I don’t know what the feeling is or how to explain it.

It's kind of sad to see someone's home deteriorated like that.

It is. Especially if it used to be the home of someone you knew.

very beautiful pictures, you have a well trained eye, good compositions in your photos, my favorite photo is the one with the end of the hair, it conveys a lot of tenderness.
