Natural Wonders

I gave the post a grandiose title and whoever is reading it, must be thinking of Aurora Borealis, Mount Everest or Parícutin, just to name a few of the 7 Natural Wonders Of The World. The truth is, we have natural wonders everywhere, no matter where you live, but most of us never pay attention to small things as we're always busy with other things.

I used to be one of them, before I joined the legacy chain. Was mostly walking blind and saw only what I wanted. Then I joined the chain and started posting photos. Hive changes everyone and if you state the opposite, then there's something wrong with you. Once you join the platform and start looking around, a whole new universe opens up in front of you. You see what others are posting about and you wish to be as good if not better than some. This motivation can take you a long way, if you keep the fire burning and don't give up.

This is the time when the vine is starting to grow leaves and buds. This beauty can't be compared to any other plant. My dad has a bunch but I'm not there now, so most likely I'll miss this beautiful period of time. However, yesterday, although it was raining, I managed to go for a short walk and found some vine that was on the other side of the fence. It's not an easy task as people don't grow grapes in the city for the obvious reasons and even if you find some, it's on private property, so taking photos can be done at your own risk.

In case you're not familiar with it, this pinkish thing is the baby leaf. This is what vine leaves look like at the earliest phase. It's a lovely, cute thing.

Raindrop were running down the leaves already when I took the photos.

Kind of going backwards in time, but the order doesn't really matter in this post. So on Saturday I went to the farmers market to buy groceries for the weekend. On my way there, I spotted these white flowers on the side of the sidewalk.

The flowers look like cherry blossoms but I don't think they are. Must be something similar, but have no idea what kind of flowers these are.

The problem was, I had some serious competition. You see that brownish black lady? She was working hard and fast and she was not alone. There were three or four of them and I knew at a closer confrontation I would end up on the losing end, so the smartest decision was to walk away and let them do what they usually do.

Last, but not least, the beauty of this season, lilac. Lilac for me is like the queen of the flowers in May. I can't explain why, but I think the shape of the flowers and the scent makes it take the first place. The problem is, the trees are grown high already and as soon as the flowers start to appear, there's always someone to cut down the flowers. So finding some to photograph is an art. I know a place where lilac is kept at bush levels though. Last week there were just buds, this week I may find them open already and I'd like to do a proper photo shoot, not just one photo, so stay tuned.

I agree, we're walking blindly, instead of enjoying these surprises offered by nature.

First off, let me just say - SUCH an mother nature eye candy post!!!

Secondly,

The truth is, we have natural wonders everywhere, no matter where you live, but most of us never pay attention to small things as we're always busy with other things.

So true!!! I would go as far as to say that WE are all natural wonders (within ourselves) and we also pay no attention to this because we are too busy giving attention (or comparing ourselves) to others.

Once you join the platform and start looking around, a whole new universe opens up in front of you.

I am only just walking through the door an already I have connected with so many incredible individuals!!!!!!!!!

My folks have vine in their garden and whilst I have never taken a photo as spectacular as this, I can appreciate the magnificence of that moment!!!

So beautiful!!! <3

You're right, there are natural wonders everywhere. Every creation of God is a natural wonders that everyone could enjoy only if we would appreciate even the smallest and simpliest thing we could find.

Thanks for sharing these wonders with us.
