Paintings In The Bastion

Today is a new day and I'd like to invite you to another exhibition in another medieval bastion. As I mentioned in my post yesterday, it's the most amazing place to hold an exhibition, due to the architecture of the bastion and the wooden structure, that adds a lot to the excitement.

I took a photo from the entrance for you to see what I'm talking about. How can you not love this?

What you see on the photo above is the artist himself, with a reporter, talking details about a social media video, which they filmed right in front of me. I stood there quietly, to not disturb and was thinking how awesome to be able to film a video with your phone in minutes, post it on any social media platform and connect with your fans. Imagine how much time this would have taken back in the day, to deploy a camera crew, process the film, then air it in one of the shows or in the news. All that is circumvented now, you can do it yourself, with less effort, resources and faster as well.

As you can see, there were so many paintings of all the styles and shapes.

None of the paintings had a title, so all was left to the imagination of the visitors.

From photographic point of view, every exhibition is a challenge, but a different one as none of the exhibition halls are the same. Each one has its own challenge, this one being a medieval structure and not built for exhibition, was another one. What I liked here was the texture of the wall. Being painted in white gave me some satisfaction and I must admit, I like it better than the usual, smooth walls.

I liked this one a lot, but can't define why.

This reminded me of The Little Prince by French aristocrat, writer, and military pilot Antoine de Saint-Exupéry . Maybe it is The Little Prince. Who knows?

And here's another favorite of mine. What I love about this one is that it's a funny one, not usual, more like and illustration for a story book. Look at the roof :)

Most likely the author knew I like this type of architecture as this is the third house with the same style of roof 😂. Ok, that was a joke.

Summer is here, so this is right on point.

While I'm not sure what this is, might be a kite, or not, I liked the colors and the overall look of it. This was not the only painting of this style, there were similar ones and I was happy to see such art here.

Like this one for example. I liked this a lot.

Another one that I liked. Would look cool on my wall.

Last, but not least, a portrait. I'm not going to tell you who it is, if you don't life under a rock, you must recognize it.

This is the first part, there will be another one, so stay tuned. I hope you could find one or two paintings you liked. There were a few I loved to be honest.
