Ramdom Photos

Today I'm going to throw a mix of photos in this post, without any connection between them as it's time for another photo post.

One of the things I like to photograph is my African violets, when they start blooming. The leaves themselves are spectacular, but the buds are even better. Those tiny, hairy things are quite funny.

These photos were taken last year in December and I never got to post them.

Then last year, the same time I was lucky to catch the frozen roses, which was a miracle. Once because roses are usually cut down at the end of the gardening season, by the time of the first snow or frost, there's nothing left. Secondly, because there was snow or frost early, while the roses were still decent.

Melting show, transforming into ice. This is from last year. We haven't had snow yet, although today I saw a few snowflakes. It's highly unlikely to get snow till Christmas as temperatures will be over zero, which is not cold enough. It's a shame though as kids will spend their winter holiday without snow, unless parents can afford to go to the mountains. We always had snow when we were kids and had a lot of fun each year.

Pines will stay green though.

There are some terrible losses here, I don't know if these leaves had become lunch for someone, or it's been an accidents, bit most of it was gone when I took the photo.

Rose leaves are the most beautiful during autumn. I'm not sure if all the rose leaves turn this colorful during autumn, but this one that is in the park does. Maybe just for me as they know I love colorful leaves 😂

Raindrops and a crappy photo. I tried my best to capture the raindrops, but the wind was blowing and the photo is not as sharp as it should be. Maybe next time.

20211225_124323a.jpg

I took this photo last year, the day after Christmas, which is strange as that time of the year there are no buds. I have no idea what this is. Looks like some kind of bud though. I never went back to that place to see this plant during summer. Shame on me. I have so many things to learn about nature.

Moss, another interesting creature of nature. It always amazes me, both the color and the shape.

I tried to mix the photos today, although there's no black and white or architecture in this post. It's time to get out and do some new photo shoots, before the show comes. Between the gloomy days, there are nice, sunny days too, it's time to make the most of those.

Only this time I saw a picture of snow melting, similar to ice cubes that are often used for drinks😅

It may be strange to you but it's common here. I hope I can post some snowy photos soon.

I like mixed photos too. In addition, the winter season has started to show its effect in your place.

Indeed, there are signs every day. I'm not sure when it's going to happen, but it's getting colder every day.

The leaves of African violets are truly magnificent. The leaves are covered with hairs

Wow. What a nice collection of pictures you have there. I just have one question, did you take them with your phone?

Thank you! Yes, I only use my phone as my camera is an older version and not as performant as my phone camera.

Hello friend @erikah , good job exposing the different flowers through photography, I liked the photos, especially those where you capture those that are tucked in the icy weather.

Greetings!!!

I was also very curious what that plant was. When I googled it, I found out that it is called Aeschynanthus, but there is still a lot to be researched.

One thing for sure is that nature has multiple ways of amazing us.

Unfortunately for me over here, we don’t have 4 seasons but only 2 (Raining and Dry season)

Yep, I’ve never seen snow in my life 😪 only in videos and of course, John Snow 😂😂

I know a lot of you have never seen snow and that's why I'm always posting showy photos. It's not the same as actually experiencing it, but it's still something. Let's how I get the chance to photograph some nice snowflakes, like last year.

The mosses look really nice and attractive.
I think other people find them to be gross.😅

That's lichen, not moss :) Moss looks different, but I agree with you, it's an interesting creature and many don't like these.

I’ve never heard of lichen before. I guess I’ve learnt something new today.

I love the details in the photos and even though they are random one notices a sort of change of season. I have never seen how the ice is forming on the plants.

The tree moss looks vibrant, the picture could almost pass for that a flower.
