Endless power cuts... But I... I try not to dwell on the inconvenience they cause, but rather on what makes me feel good.
There’s no electricity right now, but as nothing lasts forever, it’ll be back at some point tomorrow. And I’ll be able to do the washing and cook enough food for two days, and so on. Then I’ll go for a bike ride, or take some photos, or do some gardening, or paint a chair. Or I’ll mop the house... There are plenty of things to do. Hopefully the neighbour who sells dresses will ring me to make a delivery, so I can earn a bit of money.
Oh, and I go to the gym on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in the mornings, which really gives me a great boost of energy too.
😊
Terrible. I was hoping something would change by now, but the change is into worsening, not the other way around. However, this was inevitable, if you think of how the country's economy has been handled for decades. If you just take and take, one day there will be nothing left.
I'm glad you see the opportunities, not the obstacles.
I have a very good quote from a movie and it fits this situation perfectly. It's from a movie called Blackhat, with Chris Hemsworth as lead actor, playing Nicholas Hathaway. The movie is quite crap, but I love it for some reasons.
He was sentenced to 15 years for hacking banks and instead of wasting his time in prison, he got himself a system and was working on himself.
It's a talent to be honest and if you can use it in critical situation, it can save you.
