Again a month (and year) has passed. Let me show you how my portfolio did.

Market update

It was a month that turned out rather badly, but, given where we were at the start of the year, there's nothing to complain. The total market cap of cryptocurrencies went down from 2.66 tn to 2.21 tn. Bitcoin dominance was almost flat from 40.6% to 40.2%.
Looking at the prices of the individual currencies, Bitcoin went down from $57,200 to $46,900 this month. The price of Ethereum went down from $4,770 to $3,700.

Current Portfolio

Again I didn't invest more money in Bitcoin and Ethereum. My overall portfolio value is now about €6,000 lower than one month ago. My portfolio shifted a bit towards BTC. My personal BTC "dominance" is now at 39.4% (from 38.5%).
In total I have invested €2,600 in Ethereum and Bitcoin, so I'm still at a €21,500 overall profit.
A year ago my portfolio was valued at €8,038. Meaning I basically tripled the value of my investments in 12 months. If I could do that one more time in 2022, I'd be very happy indeed.

My Hive Power holdings went down a lot compared to last month from 7,071 to 6,391 HP. I chose to power down part of my HP and store it as HBD savings. Part is still available as liquid Hive too, so I could even decide to power it up again.

Will 2022 be another great year for crypto? Or is the bull run finally over and are we going into the next crypto winter? We'll see it in the coming recaps.
