THANK GOD IT'S JUST A PROMPT😀

Asking me to choose between movie and music production is like asking me to choose between my mother and the mother of my children😀. It is a very difficult situation, one that I never pray to get myself into. But we are finally here, hivenaija has finally forced me into making a choice.

If I am to choose which I love most between movies and music, I will certainly not think twice before choosing music. But choosing which is to stay between these two is a different ball game, and that is the problem, I cannot imagine a world without any of these.

For those who know me well, I am addicted to music; and that makes it easier to dismiss movies if I am choose between the two. But on the other hand, thinking of how much I will miss the companionship of interesting movies after they must have been restricted from being produced make me wish I could have it all.

Now let me cast my vote

Just like I have earlier stated, deciding which will stay between music and movies is a decision I will never love to make. But still, I love music the more. At this point I think the one I love the more will have to stay😔... Now let's get to know why I choose music production over movies.

• My love for movies is given. I am a type that can follow a seasonal movie for years awaiting expectantly for the release of each episode. That notwithstanding, I am just a consumer in the movie world: I am not a movie maker, and I will not love to become one anytime soon. In the case of music, I am vastly involved. I love music to the extent that I have become a jack of all trade in the world of music. As a matter of fact, I love to get myself involved with almost every genre. And to state obvious, I am not just a consumer in the music. If production of music is to be ban, it simply means that I can no longer do what I love doing the most and that is the problem.

• Coming to think of it now, I cannot really do without music: if music production is to be taken away, I might simply die of depression. For the first time, I am beginning to imagine how much damage it will do to me; I am beginning to imagine a world where I would no longer be given the liberty to produce an original song, a world where I would probably not be allowed to play my favourite musical instrument (keyboard) any longer. E no go easy ooo😀. In as much I love movies and would love to continue seeing new and interesting movies, I am convinced that I can survive without movies. But in the case of music, I might end up loosing my sanity if I am deprived from practicing and that is the problem. To cut it all short, my life is more important than interesting movies that are yet to be produced and since music has become an integral part of my being, I will choose music over movies anytime anyday. I love my life 🙄.

Thank God it's just a prompt😀. If this were to be a real life decision, I am convinced people would have beaten me to death by now; the same way I would join in beating who ever would be the reason behind the expulsion of music production from the world.
