Hello everyone! Fondue is a dish that I was really looking forward to try, I saw it a lot, especially in series and movies, I knew little about its preparation process, therefore the curiosity consumed me inside. The experience is rewarding, it consists of bringing us a pot with a stove, then they turn it on, in this case the stove was alcohol based. Then we had to wait about 5 minutes before we could serve the cheese. Regarding the ingredients included in this exotic dish that comes from the Switzerland, it is basically a cheese sauce, with wheat flour (to make it thick), white wine and also garlic, etc.

2.jpeg

Let's start: They gave us some kind of long forks, so that we could hook as much food as possible. First they brought Uruguayan Chorizo, Polaka sausage, rustic potatoes (it is fried) and sliced bread.

3.jpeg

As a second accompaniment to the fondue, we were served chicken breast, sirloin steak and Argentinean chorizo. Honestly, the grill to the fondue combines in a phenomenal way.

4.jpeg

Stove that is ignited with alcohol.

5.jpeg

Bread squares with cream made of eggplant. Curiously, I found this delicious sauce simple to make: eggplant, salt, oil (preferably olive oil) and garlic.

6.jpeg

Gourmet hamburgers arrived, which had as main ingredients: 160 grams of meat, mushrooms, roasted tomatoes, lettuce, bacon, mozzarella and caramelized onion slices and a duxelle sauce, by the way, this sauce looks like mushroom sauce.

7.jpeg

Panini or submarine with fondue inside, it was a little bigger than the hamburger, 200 grams of breaded chicken, black olives, fondue cheese and pesto sauce as sauces and mozzarella cheese, tomato confit, lettuce.

8.jpeg

The green sauce (pesto) being the protagonist of the evening.

9.jpeg

For drinks, we opted for some micheladas, in other words: beer with the rim of the glass covered with salt and a few drops of hot sauce. In Mexico this type of practice is quite common with beer, noting that it does not quench thirst.

10.jpeg

Anyway, I found almost no difference between fondue and cheddar sauce, the flavor of fondue is more penetrating to the palate, however both have a similar texture to the soup, as well as to telita. If you have never tried it, I heartily recommend it, it is a pleasant experience, undoubtedly worth living.

¡Hola!
