Skardu has always been my dream place ever since I was conscious and wanted to know about this place since then. I was dying to visit here but I never got the chance because this place is too far away and Generally, college school students don't even take trips here because its roads are quite dangerous, so they can't risk the lives of children.

I can't tell you how happy I was looking when I first time saw this place in front of my eyes. We convinced our university teachers very hard for this, assuring them that there would be no misbehavior of any kind, but that we would spend this time very quietly. Our goal is simply to enjoy beauty. After our efforts, they agreed and arranged our trip to Skardu.

Never had a chance to visit here with my family as this area is too cold. Usually summers are also cold here for a long time but this place is better to visit in spring season than winter because of its beauty. I can't describe in words, when the flowers are in full bloom and the leaves are showing on the trees, it is a scene of such beauty that attracts the heart. I have seen many trees in my life, they were beautiful too. The beauty of these trees I saw here was something I had never seen before in my life

Didn't know much about Skardu but one thing I knew was the Heart River here, also known as the Indus River. It is shaped like a heart and there are many houses built around it. This is one of the special reasons of Skardu which people come from far and wide to see. This river was so beautiful that I cannot describe it. Here I saw people doing a lot of sightseeing. Many people came from other countries and were enjoying the beauty here. I have never seen such beauty on the Asian side. So much beauty here, the clouds and these people, everything was wonderful

We climbed to a height and saw this river very carefully. To be honest, I didn't want to go down at all. I have never seen such beauty in my life. This river is also important because it connects many rivers, it is also called the Father of Rivers of Pakistan, and this entire area falls within Gilgit-Baltistan, so special attention is paid to this river. A large number of people come here for sightseeing and there is a crowd of people all the time but still a very peaceful and beautiful place.

Generally Pathan people live here because Punjabi people like us are not used to so much cold, so we can't stay there for long. Living in these areas and eating warm foods, are usually done by them. Because by birth they are used to winters and we are surprised to see that they don't feel much much difficulty in climbing mountains, that when we don't have any altitude, our legs start to ache. They used to go everyday up and down plenty of times in a day, even the young children of the Pathans easily reached the heights, because he had been in this place since childhood, so they were hardened.

This was our 2 day tour. At night we camped here and lit a fire. All the friends started humming and talking among themselves. The silence of the night time was so peaceful but even more beautiful was the scene when its morning here. It was almost five o'clock, the chirping of the birds was so beautiful that I wanted them to just keep talking. Then the sky looked clear blue.

The beauty of the trees here comes down to the fallen leaves that were adding to its beauty. The company of friends and having found such a beautiful place makes my tour more memorable.I will never see this type of place in my life before. It will always be in my memory.

Maybe if I get a chance, I would like to live in this place for the rest of my life, but I can't stand this much cold. This place is very heartwarming. If any of you get a chance to come here, do visit this place. You will like it.
