Hace algunos días recibí el mensaje de una posible cliente que me preguntaba por el curso que tenemos de arte y cual era la edad mínima en la que recibíamos a los pequeños, pues el suyo tiene 3 años.
A esto le respondí que dependía mucho de la motivación que tuviera el pequeño por hacer las actividades, pues he tenido alumnos de esa edad, y ese es un factor súper importante a tomar en cuenta.
Me dijo que iba a esperar un tiempo para inscribirlo y de ahí no recibí más mensajes, hasta hace algunos días donde me preguntaba por clases personalizadas. Le pasé toda la información y le pareció bien todo.
Coordinamos para el viernes de hace dos semanas, pero lamentablemente ese día se había ido la electricidad y no pudimos trabajar. Fue por eso coordinamos para otro día la semana pasada pero por la mañana, para tener la seguridad de que no nos pasara lo mismo. Así llegó el día, donde además iba a aprovechar de comprar algunas cosas que el día anterior no había podido.

We scheduled a class for Friday two weeks ago, but unfortunately, the power went out that day, and we couldn't work. So we scheduled another class last week, in the morning, to be sure it wouldn't happen again. The day arrived, and I was also going to take the opportunity to buy some things I hadn't been able to the day before.
Ese día desperté bien temprano para poder estar a tiempo para la clase, que era a las 10. Además debía estar antes para acomodar todas las cosas porque el día anterior había llovido por la tarde, y me tocó dejar todo desordenado.
Ella llegó junto a sus dos pequeños, el que tiene 3 años y otro un año más pequeño que también quería pintar.
Los dos eran bastante tiernos y aunque con el pequeñito apenas logramos unos trazos, con el más grandecito hicimos 3 actividades. Era un pequeño que prestaba bastante atención a las instrucciones y se notaba que le encantaba lo que hacía. Esto para mi es buenísimo pues como les mencioné en un principio, siempre que ellos tengan la motivación por hacer, se pueden lograr grandes cosas.
Al finalizar logramos unas pinturas bastante hermosas y coloridas y él bien feliz posó junto a sus obras. ♥
That day I woke up very early so I could be on time for class, which was at 10:00. I also had to get there early to tidy up because it had rained the afternoon before, and I'd had to leave everything a mess.
She arrived with her two little ones, one who is 3 years old and another a year younger who also wanted to paint.
They were both quite sweet, and although we only managed a few strokes with the little one, we did three activities with the older one. He was a little boy who paid close attention to the instructions, and it was clear he loved what he was doing. This is wonderful for me because, as I mentioned at the beginning, as long as they are motivated to do something, they can achieve great things.
In the end, we created some beautiful and colorful paintings, and he happily posed next to his artwork. ♥
De ahí me fui hasta la tienda el castillo, donde me tocaba comprar unos hilos para un encargo que tengo, el cual es un nuevo reto que la verdad aún no se como iniciar, jajaja. Se trata de unos pañitos para bebé que, por ser la primera vez que hago, siento algo de nervios. Aunque no son para nada complicados de hacer, tengo esa pequeña resistencia a empezar. Ya les contaré en otro post que tal me fue con eso y como quedaron.
Luego de pasar la respectiva foto a la cliente, hice la fila para pagar y de ahí me fui hasta otra tienda a ver si conseguía otros colores de hilo, pues lamentablemente en mi ciudad no se está consiguiendo casi material para tejer.

After sending the photo to the client, I got in line to pay and then went to another store to see if I could find other colors of yarn, because unfortunately, it's very difficult to find knitting supplies in my city.
Luego de hacer un largo recorrido por el centro, del cual no tengo fotos porque el calor me tenía bastante aturdida (eran horas del medio día), fui a buscar unos yogures que quería mi hijo en varias tiendas hasta encontrar unos de fresa. En el proceso me encontré con esta waflera que definitivamente tengo que comprar en los próximos días.
La que yo tenía se dañó hace meses y me ha hecho una falta enorme. Esta que vi me pareció que estaba a precio de regalo. Y finalmente el recorrido terminó en una perfumería donde compré dos perfumes, uno para mi hijo y mi esposo y otro para mi.
Compré unos pequeños a modo de prueba, porque era mi primera vez comprando ahí y no sabía que tal resultaría la compra. Les adelanto que a mi esposo no le gustó la fragancia y a mi si me gustó la mía, aunque se va muy rápido el aroma de mi piel.
Así finalizó mi jornada del día, gracias amigos por acompañarme en otra aventura. ♥
After a long walk through the city center, which I don't have any pictures of because the heat had me quite dizzy (it was midday), I went to look for some yogurt my son wanted, visiting several stores until I found some strawberry ones. While I was there, I came across this waffle iron that I definitely have to buy in the next few days.
The one I had broke months ago, and I've been missing it terribly. This one I saw seemed like a steal. Finally, the walk ended at a perfume shop where I bought two perfumes, one for my son and my husband, and one for me.
I bought a few small samples as a test, because it was my first time shopping there, and I didn't know how the purchase would turn out. I'll tell you now that my husband didn't like the fragrance, but I did like mine, although the scent fades very quickly from my skin.
