Entrega de regalos y pinta caritas el día de reyes || Gift-giving and face painting on Three Kings' Day ♥
¡Hola Chicos!
En la academia donde trabajo se comenzó a hacer desde el mes de diciembre la recolección de dinero para hacer una entrega de juguetes a los niños más necesitados en las cercanías de ambas sedes.
Las metas no se lograron en el momento deseado y lo que iba a ser un regalo de navidad, termino siendo un regalo de reyes magos lo cual también queda excelente.
Así que para el día de ayer fui convocada para asistir a la primera entrega de regalos, que se daría a cabo en la sede de punta gorda.
El plan era estar en el momento como apoyo para el pequeño evento y también para pintar la carita de todos los niños que asistiera a recibir su regalo.
Es primera vez que haría algo así, estaba algo nerviosa por el asunto pero muy dispuesta a colaborar y hacerlo.
Por supuesto, busque ideas en internet para no irme tan perdida y darle la oportunidad a los niños de que escogieran la pintura que ellos quisieran.
A eso de las 3 de la tarde salí de casa, lista para pintar todas esas caritas jajaja

At the academy where I work, we started collecting money in December to deliver toys to the neediest children in the vicinity of both sites.
The goals were not achieved at the desired time and what was going to be a Christmas present, ended up being a present for the Three Kings, which is also excellent.
So yesterday I was summoned to attend the first gift giving, which was to take place at the Punta Gorda site.
The plan was to be there on the spot to support the little event and also to paint the faces of all the children who attended to receive their presents.
It was the first time I would do something like this, I was a bit nervous about it but very willing to collaborate and do it.
Of course, I looked for ideas on the internet so I didn't get so lost and gave the children the opportunity to choose the painting they wanted.
At about 3 o'clock in the afternoon I left the house, ready to paint all those little faces hahaha.
Llegué al sitio y nos pusimos a arreglar todo para la llegada de los niños. Fueron convocados a las 4 de la tarde pero no fue sino hasta las 5 que comenzaron a aparecer.
Acomodamos una mesita con las pinturas es un pequeño espacio del frente de la casa y comenzamos a esperar.
Mientras mi compañera iba colocando música y algunos globos para ambientar el momento.
Llegó la primera niña, era bastante pequeña y estaba súper entretenida con unos creyones que había llevado consigo.
Intenté pintarle un corazoncito en el cachete pero al colocar un pequeño trazo ella lo retiró con su brazo.
Así que desistimos la idea de pintarla y mejor dejarla que siguiera jugando. No a todos les tiene que gustar ser pintados y más cuando son tan pequeños.
I arrived at the site and we set about arranging everything for the arrival of the children. They were summoned at 4pm but it wasn't until 5pm that they started to show up.
We set up a small table with the paintings in a small space at the front of the house and began to wait.
While my companion was setting up music and some balloons to set the mood for the moment.
The first girl arrived, she was quite small and she was very amused with some crayons she had brought with her.
I tried to paint a little heart on her cheek but when I put a small line on her cheek she pulled it away with her arm.
So we gave up the idea of painting her and let her continue playing. Not everyone has to like to be painted and even more so when they are so small.
Ya luego apareció el segundo niño y este si me dejó pintarlo. 🙌😂 Cómo les dije tenía varias ideas en mi teléfono, así que le enseñé y se decidió por un muñequito de Among us.
La verdad no sé porque les gusta tanto este juego a los niños pero es tan popular como el Minecraft.
Son bien sencillos de pintar, aunque la superficie donde me tocaba hacerlo era algo diferente a lo acostumbrado. Pero aún así logré hacerlo.
A él le dieron una pistola de dardos en forma de dinosaurio. Estaba súper emocionado y no dudo en estar atacando todo a su paso jajaja.
Then the second child came along and this one let me paint it. 🙌😂 As I said I had several ideas on my phone, so I showed him and he decided on an Among us doll.
I really don't know why kids like this game so much but it is as popular as Minecraft.
They are very easy to paint, although the surface where I had to do it was a bit different from what I'm used to. But I still managed to do it.
He got a dart gun in the shape of a dinosaur. He was super excited and didn't hesitate to attack everything in his path hahaha.
Luego llegó un gordito hermoso 🥹. En su cuerpo no cabía tanto cachetito y que creen, también lo pinté.
Le daba cosquillas en el cachete así que fui lo más rápido posible para pintarle un globito.
Ya luego le dieron su juguete y lo estaba devorando. 😊❤️
Then came a beautiful chubby boy 🥹. He couldn't fit so much cheek in his body and what do you know, I painted him too.
His cheek was tickling so I went as fast as I could to paint him a balloon.
Then he got his toy and he was devouring it. 😊❤️
Llegaron de repente un grupo de niños y me hicieron fila para pintarlos. Algunos eran súper inquietos, lo que me dificultaba dejarles un trabajo prolijo 😔.
Aún así les pinté como pude y salieron unas pinturas bastante lindas. Ellos con tener esa figura que tanto querían en su rostro quedaron bien felices y era lo que más importaba.
Suddenly a group of children arrived and lined up for me to paint them. Some of them were very restless, which made it difficult for me to give them a neat job 😔.
Even so, I painted them as best I could and they turned out pretty nice paintings. They were very happy to have the figure they wanted so much on their face and that was what mattered the most.
En el proceso de los regalos y la pintada se nos dio a todos un juguito, que no caía nada mal para tomar fuerzas para continuar.
Todos los adultos presentes estábamos contentos por ver la felicidad de los niños al probar y disfrutar sus juguetes.
In the process of the presents and the painting, we were all given a little juice, which was not a bad thing to give us strength to continue.
All the adults present were happy to see how happy the children were to taste and enjoy their toys.
Llegaron unas niñas chiquiticas hermosas, había una de ellas que tenía muchos brillos en su carita, por lo que apenas le hice unos detallitos y listo.
A otra intenté pintarle una florcita pero no me dejó terminarla, aún así quedó bien linda. 🥹
Luego se les entregaron sus juguetes y sus caritas de felicidad no tenían precio. A pesar de ser unos juguetes sencillos, todos los niños se los estaban disfrutando un montón.
Some beautiful little girls arrived, one of them had a lot of glitter on her face, so I just did a few little details and that was it.
I tried to paint a little flower on another one but she didn't let me finish it, but it was still very pretty. 🥹
Then they were given their toys and their happy faces were priceless. Even though they were simple toys, all the children were enjoying them a lot.
Ya a mí se me estaba haciendo tarde, ya eran las 6 y yo debía tomar el transporte público que funciona hasta cierta hora.
Así que pinté el último muñequito de Among us (el más popular del día 😂) y recogí todas mis cosas para volver a casa.
Fue una experiencia única, en la que aprendí que los niños se mueven mucho, pero que pintarlos fue algo y divertido.
Me gustó ser parte de esta obra benéfica en la que pudimos hacer felices a varios niños con algo tan sencillo como un juguete, pintar sus caritas y compartir un rato agradable ♥.

It was already getting late for me, it was already 6 o'clock and I had to take the public transport that runs until a certain time.
So I painted the last Among us doll (the most popular of the day 😂) and picked up all my stuff to go back home.
It was a unique experience, where I learned that kids move a lot, but painting them was something and fun.
I enjoyed being part of this charity work in which we could make several children happy with something as simple as a toy, paint their faces and share a nice time ♥.
Soon I will be sharing the second part of this delivery of gifts of kings. 😊
