Since I was very young I like to weave bracelets. It is something that entertains me in my spare time and the best thing is that with them I can generate some extra income.

This art, as I like to call it, is not practiced by many. It is an activity to which you must have a lot of patience and above all you must pay close attention, because if you make a mistake in the direction of one of the threads, the complete design of the bracelet is lost.

The typical thing is to see the Chevron bracelets, but this time I wanted to bring you a different proposal, with a unique design that is difficult to replicate.

It is a bracelet with cherry motifs. The dark tone background makes us enhance that red of the cherries and the green of their stems.

Of course I bring you the pattern so you can make it and a little explanation of how this whole knitting process was.

This is the pattern we are going to use for this bracelet. We will need 5 strands of 2 meters long each:

• One cherry red
• One green for the stem
• And three in the tone that we want for the background, I used a dark blue.

Then we are going to fold them in half and make a small knot at the end where the threads are folded. We will leave a small ring that will serve to tie the bracelet.

Now we place these threads fastened with a hook or a suitcase that puts pressure on it so that we can weave calmly.

We must organize the threads in the direction shown by the pattern.

We knit the first row, always following the order and direction shown in the knots.

Most of the stitches on this bracelet are made in two directions, first in the opposite direction to the arrow and then in the direction shown. This will make the threads stay in the same place.

You must be very careful with this because if you were to do it in another way the pattern might not match.

I have been weaving bracelets for years and when one has two or three laps you learn the pattern, but I must confess that from start to finish I had to pay attention to it because otherwise I would get lost.

It's a bit tricky but not impossible to do. And it is a great satisfaction to see that all those 'crazy' turns we make with the threads make sense and we can see the first cherries.

With no distractions we can complete this bracelet in about 2 1/2 hours, or maybe less depending on your weaving skills.

The number of turns you are going to make will depend on the thickness of the yarn and also on the person you are going to knit it for.

The standard is about 11-12 centimeters long. I knitted 7 identical rows to get to this length. The thread I used is daisy, one of just two strands, that's why it took me that long to make it.

In this design, the threads that are worn the most are those at the bottom, so I recommend that when you cut them to assemble the bracelet, you place an additional 5 centimeters for those that will go in the center.

We finish the bracelet by knotting the ends and then making two braids. We divide the threads in half and make them.
