Tarde de películas en la academia || Movie evening at the academy 🎞📽
¡Hola Chicos!
En la academia tenemos varias urgencias que hay que resolver pero como la afluencia de alumnos ha bajado en los últimos meses, no ha sido posible cubrir con dichos gastos.
Elieska, quien es la directora, siempre esta inventando nuevas maneras de solucionar las cosas y se le ocurrió hacer una tarde de películas para los niños de la academia y los de la comunidad, que quisieran participar.
Se les cobraría una entrada a muy bajo costo y además se vendería comida y algunos dulces para que los niños pudiesen disfrutar durante la película.

At the academy we have several emergencies that need to be solved but as the number of students has dropped in the last few months, it has not been possible to cover these expenses.
Elieska, who is the director, is always inventing new ways to solve things and she came up with the idea of having a movie evening for the children of the academy and those of the community, who would like to participate.
They would be charged a very low entrance fee and food and some candy would be sold for the children to enjoy during the movie.
Como en todo comienzo y actividad nueva, se tuvieron algunos tropiezos 😅. Para ver la película Elieska trajo desde casa su TV, pero al rato de haber llegado a la academia se dio cuenta que el control había quedado en casa.
Entonces le tocó devolverse a buscarlo. Mientras yo llegué a la academia con algunas cosas que hacían falta, como las ollas donde se cocinaría la comida y las cotufas (palomitas de maíz).
Lo haríamos en una cocina eléctrica porque aún no contamos con gas dentro de la academia. Esto se estará solventando pronto ya que impartiremos las clases de repostería para niños y es necesario contar con gas para poder cocinar todos los postres que se harán.
Cocinar con una hornilla eléctrica es súper tedioso, no imaginé que las cosas demorarían tanto 😞😂. Primero puse a calentar el agua para cocinar las salchichas de los perros calientes. Unos 20 minutos se demoró en calentar y luego para que estuvieran listas fue un largo proceso.
Y ni hablar de las cotufas que explotaban 1 cada 5 minutos 😩 jajaja No estoy exagerando.
As with every new start and activity, there were some hiccups 😅. To watch the movie, Elieska brought her TV from home, but soon after arriving at the academy she realized that the remote had been left at home.
So she had to go back to get it. While I arrived at the academy with some things that were needed, such as the pots where the food would be cooked and the cotufas (popcorn).
We would do it on an electric stove because we still don't have gas inside the academy. This will be solved soon since we will be teaching baking classes for children and it is necessary to have gas to be able to cook all the desserts that will be made.
Cooking with an electric stove is super tedious, I didn't imagine things would take so long 😞😂. First I put the water on to heat up to cook the hot dog sausages. About 20 minutes it took to heat up and then to get them ready was a long process.
And not to mention the cotufas that exploded 1 every 5 minutes 😩 hahaha I'm not exaggerating.
Cuando por fin estuvieron listas las palomitas de maíz se les entregó un pequeño vaso a cada niño y luego Elieska armó los perros calientes.
Tocó reservarlos porque no todos los niños iban a comer de esto, también habían tequeños pero no estaban listos y para que no comieran unos primero que otros esperamos a que los tequeños estuvieran hechos.
When the popcorn was finally ready a small cup was given to each child and then Elieska assembled the hot dogs.
We had to reserve them because not all the children were going to eat this, there were also tequeños but they were not ready and so that they would not eat some before others we waited for the tequeños to be ready.
Extendí los tequeños en el mesón porque ya se estaban calentando y cuando se humedecen se pegan. Es por eso que los mantuvimos así hasta el momento de freírlos.
Y ya se podrán imaginar, una media hora a que se cocinara cada tanda. 😂
I spread the tequeños on the counter because they were already heating up and when they get wet they stick. That's why we kept them like that until the time to fry them.
And you can imagine, a half hour for each batch to cook. 😂
Mientras todo esto ocurría, los niños estaban viendo la película en la sala de ballet. Entre Elieska y su novio colocaron el TV sobre dos sillas y así lograron crear un ambiente ideal para disfrutar el momento. Vieron la película de Leo, una película de Disney bastante chistosa.
While all this was going on, the children were watching the movie in the ballet room. Between Elieska and her boyfriend, they placed the TV on two chairs and thus managed to create an ideal environment to enjoy the moment. They watched Leo's movie, a very funny Disney movie.
Ya luego que estuvo todo listo, armamos los platos, servimos toda la comida y aprovechamos de tomarle fotos como recuerdo de la experiencia y documentación para las próximas tarde de cine.
Al momento de servir mi hijo nos ayudó, en realidad en todo el proceso como siempre porque en varios momentos salió a comprar algunas cosas.
After everything was ready, we assembled the plates, served all the food and took pictures as a souvenir of the experience and documentation for the next movie afternoon.
At the time of serving my son helped us, actually in the whole process as usual because at various times he went out to buy some things.
Cuando estuvo todo justamente había terminado la película, así que encendimos la luz y ellos disfrutaron su comida mientras veían un cortrometaje de disney.
Fue una tarde diferente la que disfrutaron los niños y nosotros durante el proceso, porque nos reímos bastante con todas las locuras que pasaron durante el proceso. 😂
Se logró lo que se esperaba de la actividad y los niños quedaron bien contentos. ♥
By the time everything was done the movie was over, so we turned on the lights and they enjoyed their meal while watching a Disney short film.
It was a different afternoon enjoyed by the kids and us during the process, because we laughed a lot with all the crazy things that happened during the process. 😂
It achieved what was expected of the activity and the kids were well pleased. ♥
