Les voy a contar un poco de la última clase de pintura que le di a los pequeños de la academia.
Yo tenía dos grupos, uno de alumnos que ha estado conmigo desde mis inicios dando clases y otro que inició el mes pasado.
La cantidad de alumnos en ambos grupos es poca, así que decidí unirlos para darles clases un solo día y así poder dedicarme a otras actividades en mis tiempos libres.
Otro cambio que hicimos fue colocar a una de las pequeñas en un turno más temprano al que doy clases porque ella tiene clases de ballet el mismo día, y para que pudiera asistir a ambas clases la solución que encontramos viable era esa.
Además es una niña que ha pasado recientemente por problemas de conducta y creo que la atención personalizada le viene buenísimo para que pueda nivelarse y volver a tomar el rumbo que llevaba en las clases.

I'm going to tell you a little bit about the last painting class I gave to the little ones at the academy.
I had two groups, one group of students who have been with me since I started teaching and another one that started last month.
The number of students in both groups is small, so I decided to unite them to give them classes on a single day so that I could dedicate myself to other activities in my free time.
Another change we made was to place one of the little ones in an earlier shift than the one I teach because she has ballet classes on the same day, and in order for her to attend both classes the solution we found viable was that.
She is also a child who has recently had behavioral problems and I think that personalized attention is a great way for her to level out and get back on track.
Al hablar con su mamá ella se sintió un poco confundida porque no entendía el porque se le iba a sacar del grupo y atenderla sola. Pero le expliqué con calma para que no se alarmara.
Otro punto que me comentó fue que la niña podría sentirse mal por estar sola en la clase, pero a esa hora hay tareas dirigidas en la academia, por lo que es imposible que pase la clase sola, siempre habrán niños con los que pueda compartir.
When I talked to her mom, she was a little confused because she didn't understand why she was going to be taken out of the group and take care of her on her own. But I explained to her calmly so that she would not be alarmed.
Another point she told me was that the child might feel bad for being alone in the class, but at that time there are homework assignments at the academy, so it is impossible for her to spend the class alone, there will always be children with whom she can share.
Al llegar nos pusimos a trabajar en la pintura que trabajamos en la clase anterior. Con mi guía ella había hecho un cuadro de un paisaje, con un atardecer bastante colorido y unas lindas flores de colores.
Ya la mayoría estaba lista, lo que había era que afinar algunos detalles para que estuviera lista. Así que arreglamos unas cositas por aquí y por allá. También le hizo unas estrellas en el cielo y le pintó una linda luna blanca, que le ayudé a darle forma en los picos.
When we arrived we started working on the painting we had worked on in the previous class. With my guide she had done a painting of a landscape, with a colorful sunset and some pretty colorful flowers.
Most of it was ready, what we needed to do was to fine tune some details to get it ready. So we fixed a few things here and there. She also made some stars in the sky and painted a pretty white moon, which I helped her to shape on the peaks.
Así quedó lista su pintura. Quedó bien contenta y sorprendida con el resultado. Esto demuestra que con una buena guía los niños pueden lograr grandes cosas, solo es cuestión de brindarles las herramientas para que ellos puedan desenvolverse y llevar al papel las ideas que tienen en sus mentes.
En el próximo post les contaré que tal me fue con el segundo grupo y el resultado de sus pinturas. ♥
This is how her painting turned out. She was very happy and surprised with the result. This shows that with a good guide children can achieve great things, it is just a matter of giving them the tools so that they can develop and put on paper the ideas they have in their minds.
