¡Hola Chicos!
Hace algunos días me fui con mi hijo a hacer unas diligencias al banco (como todos los meses) y aproveché para comprarle el pantalón deportivo para el colegio.
En mi visita pasada a Mundo Total había averiguado los costos de cada una de las prendas del uniforme y el que más me gustó fue el pantalón.
La franela tengo pensada comprarla en estos días en Ciudad Ojeda. Esta también sería deportiva, pues me gusta que mi hijo vaya cómodo al colegio, ya que hace mucho calor en el día y el uniforme deportivo es más fresco que la chemise común. Afortunadamente en el colegio no ponen exigencias en cuanto a eso.
Así que nos fuimos de compra luego de haber ido al banco y haber hecho una breve parada en la tienda Traki.

A few days ago I went with my son to run some errands to the bank (as I do every month) and I took the opportunity to buy him the sports trousers for school.
On my last visit to Mundo Total I had checked the costs of each of the items of the uniform and the one I liked the most was the trousers.
I plan to buy the flannel these days in Ciudad Ojeda. This would also be sporty, as I want my son to be comfortable at school, as it is very hot during the day and the sporty uniform is cooler than the normal chemise. Fortunately the school doesn't make any demands about that.
So we went shopping after a trip to the bank and a brief stop at the Traki shop.
Yo adoro visitar Total porque es una tienda que tiene de todo un poco, desde comida, zapatos, prendas de vestir, bebidas alcohólicas, artículos de belleza y unos dulces súper económicos y variados, de los cuales les estaré hablando en otro post.
I love visiting Total because it's a shop that has a little bit of everything, from food, shoes, clothes, alcoholic drinks, beauty items and some super cheap and varied sweets, which I'll be talking about in another post.
Nos fuimos inmediatamente a la zona de los uniformes y artículos escolares, porque como les dije al inicio, ya teníamos claro cual sería nuestra compra.
Demoramos un poco en terminar de descifrar la talla exacta que le serviría a mi hijo, pues quería comprarle algo que le quedara pero que al mismo tiempo le durara todo el año escolar.
Saben que los niños pierden muy rápido la ropa y más cuando están por cruzar la adolescencia. Nos encontramos también que habían dos pantalones diferentes, uno tenía una tela más fresca que otra y la diferencia de precios era de 1$.
Nos decidimos por el de 5$ porque era el de tela más fresca y menos sintética.
We immediately went to the uniforms and school supplies area, because as I said at the beginning, we already knew what our purchase would be.
It took us a while to figure out the exact size that would fit my son, as I wanted to buy him something that would fit him but at the same time would last him the whole school year.
You know how quickly kids lose their clothes and even more so when they are about to cross their teenage years. We also found that there were two different trousers, one had a cooler fabric than the other and the price difference was 1$.
We decided to go for the 5$ one because it was the cooler and less synthetic fabric.
Luego nos dimos unas vueltas por los pasillos de la comida y bueno, yo me sentí nuevamente tentada por el tarro de crema de avellana de 500 gr que costaba 2.25$. Pero sentía un poco de temor de que su sabor no me gustara porque es primera vez que compraría esa marca.
Así que recordé que había visto una versión más pequeña y fue la que opté por comprar.
Mi hijo vio un cereal de miel que le gustó y me pidio que se lo comprara. Yo accedí porque se lo mucho que el quería comer cereal (eso acá en Venezuela es un lujo actualmente). Este me costó 1.25$ y por lo que ofrecía me pareció bien.
Then we wandered around the food aisles and well, I was again tempted by the 500g jar of hazelnut spread which cost $2.25. But I was a little afraid that I wouldn't like the taste because it's the first time I would buy that brand. So I remembered that I had seen a smaller version and that was the one I opted to buy.
My son saw a honey cereal that he liked and asked me to buy it for him. I agreed because I know how much he wanted to eat cereal (that's a luxury here in Venezuela these days). This one cost me 1.25$ and for what it offered I thought it was good.
Nos fuimos entonces a caja a pagar las cosas que llevábamos, en total fueron 5 artículos, porque en el camino nos encontramos con unos perfumes económicos, apenas costaban 1$ y tanto a mi esposo como a mi nos hacía falta.
La compra hizo en total 336.69 Bs, que al cambio con la taza del dolar del BCV de ese día serían 10$. Aunque todo resulto relativamente económico. A mi me resulto un gasto fuerte que no puedo asumir todo el tiempo, por eso es que procuro comprar cosas buenas y que perduren en el tiempo. Esto hablando en cuanto al uniforme de mi hijo.
Porque no solo son los 6$ que invertí en el pantalón, aun falta contar los útiles, la franela, los zapatos (que son lo más costoso) y otros gastos que si o si hay que hacer antes del inicio de clases.
We then went to the cashier to pay for the things we were carrying, a total of 5 items, because on the way we came across some cheap perfumes, they only cost 1$ and both my husband and I needed them.
The purchase made a total of 336.69 Bs, which at the exchange rate with the BCV dollar rate of that day would be 10$. Although everything turned out to be relatively inexpensive. For me it was a big expense that I can't afford all the time, that's why I try to buy good things that will last over time. I am talking about my son's uniform.
Because it's not only the 6$ I invested in the trousers, I still have to count the supplies, the flannel, the shoes (which are the most expensive) and other expenses that have to be done before school starts.
Finalmente fuimos a que chequearan nuestra factura, nos entregaran los bolsos y listo. Así terminó el día de compras.
Esto me tiene bastante tranquila porque a pesar de que aún no he comprado todo, ya falta mucho menos que al inicio.

Finally we went to have our invoice checked, the bags delivered and that was it. That was the end of the shopping day.
This makes me quite happy because even though I haven't bought everything yet, there is much less shopping to do than at the beginning.

Me encantan los días de compras, aunque las compras escolares suelen agotar un poco precisamente cuando son uniformes por el tema de las tallas jeje 🙈
Jajaj si fue complicado decidirnos pero en cuanto a la talla afortunadamente tenía a mi hijo para medirle y que fuera más sencillo todo el proceso 😊
Amiga, yo he entrado una sola vez a mundo total, y aquí en la Guaira queda La Total (son bastantes parecidas) y cada vez que entro quiero llevarme muchas cositas jajaja. Pero que bueno que le conseguiste su uniforme a tu pequeño, el tema de las tallas es un poco tedioso, pero lo solucionaste. 👏👏 Saludos 💗✨🫂
